Ok this is basiclly a build and destroy scenario, with a couple of added twists, it my first scenario, so it only contains about 25 triggers. (If it doesn\'t say so in the instructions you don\'t need to destroy the fort in the middle of the lake) If you have any decent comments plz email them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
"The Duke" is a campaign based around El Cid fighting an enemy character called The Duke.
Playability: The playability of this campaign is a little weak, there are some creative ideas, which I'll move on to later, which helped. Generally you just had to build up forces and go to the enemy base and destroy them. However, because they walled in the Duke with fortified walls and castles it takes forever before you get to him. Also there is an enemy island which is virtually impregnable.
Balance: The balance of The Duke was off. The enemy has many paladins and it took some time before you can get past the never-ending landscape of towers and castles. The balance could be reducing the number of units on the island and the sheer amount of towers and castles on The Duke's land.
Creativity: The creativity was fair. The potential of creativity is higher but the author will need to adapt and improve upon his original ideas and add others to reach a higher mark. You get sheep off a farmer, you can take command of the Monk's army. By bringing relics and so forth, its all a little standard and could do with some changes to add variety, there is also a bug with gaining the units of the church as some units were not converted to my cause upon completing the given objective.
Map Design: The map design was based around a standard random map, or from what I saw of it looked like it had. It was ok the trees and so forth were game the lag was immense. The map design could be improved if you added more things of interest, prominent features and some eye candy to spice up the map.
Story/Instructions: The story was very weak, with limited instructions in clumps though, which adds lag as well, with the sheer number of units in this causes the game to crash often. No bitmap and you didn't feel much like continuing past the introduction screen.
Overall: I wouldn't recommend this campaign, its redeeming feature was the creativity but this would need to be vastly improved before I could say it was worthy of downloading.

Just thought i'd say, that i'm trying to improve the points that where mentioned in the review, and that hopefully i'll put up a new better version in about 3 or 4 days.
