PLAYABILITY: After killing some “Annoying Archers” you have 62 units. You got twelve transport ships, but you only need three, you got six trade boats but there is no other harbour. The map is partly revealed, so that you see your main objective from the beginning. You board the transports and cross the river, then you get the information that the annoying archers and Lord Aleçons army gave up and you get tribute from the merchants. Click your 13 trebuchets and attack the wonder, while your army fights the Death Clan. Victory after 10 minutes of game. I guess that was a not intended short cut. 1
-You have to play test your scenario over and over again.
BALANCE: Two reloads, to find out if you can save the merchant. No unit lost until boarding. Most of the enemy archers walk away after they killed the only merchant, but they do that even if he is saved. 13 trebuchets for a wonder which is only protected by some infantry and bowmen? Fortunately I did not find the Iron Halo to increase massively the HP of my army. 1
- Same like above, play test.
CREATIVITY: Unfortunately there is none or better put, there was none doing the short cut. 1
MAP DESIGN: The map was done from scratch, but not better than a random map. Mostly flat grass, one kind of trees and one water depth. No deduction was made for the sea rock over the cliff. 3-
- Start with a computer generated map and change it to your needs.
STORY/INSTRUCTIONS: A small story in the introduction screen, your main objective and two hints. 3-
Overall: Do not d/l unless an update is made.
@ The author: The main problem is diplomacy, but the short cut will probably exist, even if you fix that. The demolition ships can be easily eliminated with the transports and trade boats once the Demolishers change diplomacy to enemy. Player 4 the Demolishers and player 6 the Chinese are ally to all other players.
