"Dragonball Z-The Saiyan Saga " is a scenario based on the animation cartoon programme called Dragon Ball Z, this is a part of the story recreated obviously by a fan of the series.

Playability: The playability of this scenario is a little confusing, to begin with there is a lot going on all at once, and you notice you have two groups of people, some the same people. This is a problem, but a minor one. Playing was short and the fighting undergone was very minor.

Balance: Its hard to judge a scenario in which you barely fight. The balance of the fights was a little weak however. The final fight builds up the suspense but when you get there it automatically kills the two enemies and kills certain characters of your group. If this idea had been built upon it would have been ok, but as it stands here its more of a hinderance than a well implemented idea.

Creativity: One of the best features of this scenario for certain, the space pods, the use of the various and use of some standard features as well helped keep the creativity to a reasonable standard. To improve the creativity I think the author would need to add more game time, the ideas are there but I don't feel they are used to their full potential just yet.

Map Design: The map design was along with the creativity the better aspects of this author's work. The map had a distinct feel to it, in places it looked like a random map script, however I get the feeling it wasn't editted from a random map to begin with but turned out a little like this. To improve the map design I suggest to the author to add more focal points, points of interest and add more realistic features such as plants, craters to help develop the map that little bit further.

Story/Instructions: The introduction screen was very promising with a reasonable bitmap, detailed history, instructions and mediocre hints. In game the story was a little confusing and a lot of running around was involved, the objectives seemed confusing, I thought I was chasing a Furious the Monkey edited character but this didn't feature after the initial first few minutes. Instruction wise, the text didn't go by too quickly but I feel there was need for a little more dialogue in places to fully explain to people what is going on, the setting for those who haven't watched Dragon Ball Z.

Overall: This scenario types to be unique, it semi-suceeds. 3 other scenarios to the blacksmith have recently been submitted about the series Dragon Ball Z, and this one shows potential. I hope the author continues with his work and we'll see what becomes of it in the near future.
