Lots of quests in this download. You take on various jobs to receive money, so that you can by food and upgrades. At first you don’t seem to need them, but a bit later on your enemy becomes stronger, and upgrade are a must for your survival.

PLAYABILITY: It was an enjoyable game once I got into it. The first part seemed routine and predictable, but it did pick up, and became more enjoyable a little later on. The last part of the game was perhaps the best part, as the action was a lot better, along with additions to the map.

BALANCE: I found the balance shifted around a bit from too easy to moderate, but again it would depend on how you used your upgrade money. There was a trigger problem in the game that allowed for someone to cheat big time. The first training camp I encountered was suppose to deduct 50 gold for 15 hp., but it didn’t deduct .

CREATIVITY : The beginning has a nice cut scene showing the hero’s mother being killed and the settlement destroyed. There were smaller cut scenes , to show areas where you were to go next along with some instruction. The map dragged this aspect of the review down a bit ,as it was obvious the author didn’t want you to leave the paths . This is only toward the beginning of the game ,as latter on you have to leave the path to complete a few objectives.

MAP DESIGN :The Maps beginning was a bit lacking ,and ordinary looking ,but latter on improved somewhat. The only real downside was the corridor of trees that prevented me the freedom of exploring .It also took away any natural look that usually adds to the map. There were some rocks used , but mostly where water and trees met.

STORY/INSTRUCTION :The story started with the hero wanting to get even with the one who killed his mother ,but there was no more mention of it again . There was other dialogue in the game dealing with other matters which kept the average up. The spelling and grammar should have been given more attention as well. Instruction provided the basics needed to accomplish your missions , and were mixed in with some nice cut scenes.

I recommend this game
