As in the previous versions most of the scenario is the same, but more triggers and eye candy has been added. (Not to mention, towers, walls and gates on water!!!)

In the King Arthur\'s Legendary Quest V1.4 most of the bugs should be fixed but please let me know if you do find any.
(And don\'t be shy to post comments.)

To play this scenario please copy the following files to there correct directery.

King Arthur\'s Legendary Quest.scx: Scenario folder.

AI Scripts: AI Folder.

perceval1 (background picture): Age of Empires II root folder.

Note: This scenario is a scenario from a campaign i\'m working on about King Arthur together with his knights, Merlin and other heros save the city of Trafalger and destroy a large viking invasion of England before returning to Camelot and facing Mordred.

This scenarios is the last scenario in the campaign where King Arthur, the knights, Merlin and other heros defeat Mordred.

1. Scenario making

2. AI Scripting

3. Ideas for campaign

Review for 'King Arthur's Legendary Quest' by Sir Perceval -- In this scenario, you have control of King Arthur's forces and you must defeat the evil Mordred and his army.

Playability-- This scenario is sort of fun if you enjoy destruction. You have 200 units, and all you have to do is gather them together, use your huge navy to create transports and send them over to Mordred's area, and destroy Mordred. I am not sure if it is exactly how the author meant it to be, but it is not very fun considering the enemy is by far weaker than your army. You have almost unlimited resources, a few allies, and you start out in the imperial age. As for bugs, I did not spot any in this scenario.
+ Plus Points +
¤ A lot of fighting/action
¤ No bugs
- Minus Points -
¤ Very quick
¤ Beggining army is too strong
Score-- 3

Balance-- This scenario is not very balanced. The scale tips to your side considering you have a vast army and resources at your command. The enemy did not try to attack me very often, and usually they were too busy trying to defend themselves from my ally. I tried it on different difficulty levels, but on all I came out victorious. And both enemys resigned fairly quickly on Standard, so I did not get to complete my objective of killing Mordred until I was on Hard difficulty.
+ Plus Points +
¤ None
- Minus Points -
¤ Arthur's army is too strong
¤ Enemys resign too quickly
¤ I was able to easily beat it on all difficulty levels
Score-- 2

Creativity-- This is not a very creative scenario. It is simular to a random map, except all of the units and heroes are set out for you. It does, however, feature a simular likeness to King Arthur. The map did not seem creative and is simular to a random map, but the citys looked well placed. All-in-all, this scenario was lacking creativity.
+ Plus Points +
¤ Well placed citys
¤ King Arthur creativity
- Minus Points -
¤ Simular to a random map
Score-- 3

Map Design-- This scenario is not that great in map design, but some aspects of it make it a little better than a Random Map. The citys look nice, as does the team placements. They give it some strategic attributes that makes it more challenging.
+ Plus Points +
¤ Somewhat better than a Random Map
¤ Nice citys
¤ Some strategic attributes to the CIV arrangement
- Minus Points -
¤ Not many extras
¤ Little detail in map design
Score-- 4

Story/Instructions-- The instructions are fairly good as is the story. The story is very short, however, and is not detailed in exactly what is going on. The instructions are ok, but it is hard to know what exactly the author wants you to do.
+ Plus Points +
¤ Fair instructions
- Minus Points -
¤ Short and non-detailed story
¤ Confusing instructions
Score-- 4

Final Thoughts-- This scenario is not bad, but the author could put in a little more effort to make this scenario great. Try to improve the Creativity, Balance, and Playability and you have yourself a classic. If the author has any questions/concerns about my review, feel free to e-mail me at darkaro1300@hotmail.com.
