This game is a one on one battle, which was a little too easy. You have to beat the "Zorks" , which is the only other civ. I started out with a large amount of resources , and some ready made buildings , but no villagers. I built an army of 100 and returned to the king as per instructions ,but received no other commands , so i went in pursuit of the zorks. When i arrived they were in the building stages ,like you would find in a random game ,and this made the defeat almost effortless.
PLAYABILITY:Waiting for 100 soldiers to be built ,along with no resistance whatsoever made the beginning of the game a bit boring. Perhaps the author could have improved this aspect by at least sending troops out to try and inflict some damage. The actual battle was not a whole lot of fun ,as that civ was not yet ready to defend itself.
BALANCE: Aside from being an easy win ,there was not much else happening on the map that would hold your interest.
CREATIVITY: Not a whole lot i could find in that area ,with even the map being slightly lower than random. I did find a few pockets of soldiers, and a hero that joined my side , not that i needed it , perhaps should have been set to the enemy.
MAP DESIGN: The map is flat ,and has a lot of dead spots of just grass. There were patches of gold and stone in my castle area ,suggesting there would be villies.
STORY/INSTRUCTION: "Defeat the Zorks" was the only objective the game has , along with the Kings instruction to build an army and bring them to the castle.
If you download ,, i suggest you leave your enemy build and attack you before you head out , at least you may get a decent fight out of it . Remember you have no villies and limited resources , this could offset the game.
