The game has a few minor glitches , but was enjoyable. The first time i tested, one of my allys started contributing resources non stop .I quit the game and restarted ,and the problem didn't reoccur ,but a scout that was suppose to ride up and give instructions didn't show. There may be a small mix up with the diplomacy settings as well ,but nothing major.
PLAYABILITY: I enjoyed the game ,mainly because it was a bit challanging ,and was a little different from your typical "walking along a path and fighting of bad guys" scenario's.
BALANCE: The beginning of the game is crucial to having good balance. When you get to your westward destination you will have to construct a good defence , as your town is already heavily damaged and there's more coming. (HINT: look at the size of the path leading out of the woods ,maybe something temporairy can be done quickly).The game was a good length.
CREATIVITY: The creativity aspect was ok , i like the design and layout of the wizards fortress ,along with the great voice recordings provided.
MAP DESIGN: More attention should have been given to the map. Although the layout was good, there were wide open grass areas that could have been spruced up ,and there were not many hills and water.
STORY/ INSTRUCTIONS: This is the games weakest point ,with mostly everything at the beginning, and very little elsewhere. There could have been a story throughout the game with instructions ,especially when there are 4 civs or more ,because your never really sure of what to do , or who to do it to.
