The Full name of this scenario is:
A day in the life of a man who may (or may not) have been called Ben
But this could not fit in the bar.
This is a comedy scenario. The first I\'ve made.
This is the first installment in a campaign that I am making.
Please post your opinion, so that I can improve it.

PaulC2001's Comedy Scenario, by PaulC2001, is a single player scenario in which the main character, Ben, loses his house and needs to find a new one. The game is... strange, and there is no set storyline... Just a random mess of events.
Playability: 2
You walk on a quest to find a new house. Some chat messages happen, and there is some humor, I guess, but there's no fun in walking around killing the occasional unit that appears. At one point, you are supposed to teleport to another point on the map... but you already have control of that unit... You can skip the entire first half of the scenario if you want. :S
Suggestions: The game was too short and not enough happened. The humor wasn't exactly funny... I dunno.
Balance: 1
You are a hand cannoneer with about 80 attack and 1100 HP facing at most 10 militia, and only at one point in the game. There is almost no way to lose.
Suggestions: Tone down the hero and add more enemy units. Make more puzzles to solve and make the scenario as a whole longer.
Map Design: 2
Some attempt was made to make the terrain more visibly appealing, but more needed to be done. Some people say to use a random map if you can't come up with a good map, but I disagree -- most scenarios need to have paths suiting different purposes. This one is no different.
Suggestions: Elevation needed to be added, as well as more GAIA objects and better paths -- strips of trees as barriers never cuts it.
Creativity: 2
I like the idea of a humorous scenario, but the goal was never really carried out. The journey never strayed from the main quest, and no choices were given to the player at all.
Suggestions: I almost never grade on creativity, but... you needed to have more happen. The whole scenario was bland, and you should add some other side quests... maybe you could add a lot more enemy units and give the player some more units... I'll leave the rest to you.
Story/Instructions: 2
At least a story was given. However, the in-game text wasn't very descriptive, and the one dialogue of any length went to fast for many people to read. (I thought the timing was good, but my sister barely got the first word read :S)
Suggestions: I like the elaboration on the pregame instructions (although it was strange). More of the story needed to be unfolded as the scenario wore on, otherwise there is no point to playing.
Overall: The intention was good, but the execution needed more work. I cannot recommend this scenario. |

Possibly...
I don't think the reviewer realised that this is the first installment in a series.
He/she gave me a bad mark for storyline since it did not finish.
I had a second scenario, entitled; A Cold Reception, but it wasn't very good. I hope to return to Ben sometime in the near future... |

Paul C you are a funny guy. There were many fair comments in your review but they were more constructive criticism that a put down. I had bug problems playing the game and thought that there were two Bens which was not intended. That to me was hilarious, something to consider - Ben meets Himself and they don't get on together in their new house...
I'm working on a funny scenario at the moment but there's a way to go yet. So you've got a way to go, so what. We all start somewhere and I thought it was fun, quirky, and on the right path. |

I think your level is okay, but the balance is kinda poor, because you have alot of HP! One of the best parts were the fire ship task, but overall I don't like it or hate it, it's mediocore.. |
