Hey!!
Abhik here. This is my first scenario. Originally was going to do a campaign, but thought it was a little too unoriginal.

This campaign is about getting to Helm's Deep with
King Theoden, Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli. Please email any comments and/or suggestions to me at theblackhorizon@hotmail.com, or just post them here.
Also, another thing...
I forgot the instructions. You have to get to Helm's Deep. Follow the road to as far as it goes. And, lastly, search the hills for people who might want to join your cause.
Please remember, this is only my first scenario, so don't be too harsh..:)

Thanks,

Abhik

Playability: There were no bugs that I saw, but it didn't seem like there were alot of triggers either. The fact that you could just run right through all the guys you were supposed to fight didn't help much either. Next time, try a different AI that allows all the units you face to chase you, or have the gate to the city you are supposed to enter locked until you kill a certain number of bad guys.

Balance: The balance was pretty good if you wanted to stick around for the fighting, but that wasnt ever really necessary.

Creativity: This felt like a pretty generic LOTR scenario. LOTR is cool, but try to add some things that people haven't done before, work on your trigger tricks and such, make interesting stuff happen.

Map Design: The map was decent, I found that with a TON of troops and tiny little forest passages, maneuvering became a royal pain when trying to fight archers on horseback. The final part where you just dash to the city across flat grass with two or three trees was rather boring as well. Next time, try to get some terrain mixing going, and some elevation across the more boring spots.

Story/Instructions: Minimal, give your LOTR clone some feeling, make me believe that Helm's Deep NEEDS us. As far as instructions, simply get to the castle at Helm's Deep sufficed, it just seemed boring.

Conclusion: I liked the scenario enough to finish it, but it just seemed rather generic. Work on your maps by throwing in some more terrain mixing, and watch the small spaces when working with alot of troops.
