___ This is the nice campaign. Espesially I liked when Minamoto was tortured by Britney music. Watcha, hatcha!
___ Just want to say that the advice to train many skirmishers to repel attacks of the enemy archers was good for AOK.
However, for AOK-TC this advice is not good. The best way to repel archers attack in AOK-TC is to mine much stone and build tower at some distance behind the walls [so that enemy soldiers cannot hit them with a sword]. At the same time you have to train foot archers, and once a tower has been built you should stuff it with 4-5 archers. A tower stuffed with archers has the "Attack Points" enormously boosted. It easily kills every moving creature [except for rams, and trebuchets].
Besides, as you know the computer archers can pull back if attacked by a skirmisher, but by some reason they never pull back if attacked by a tower. They just stay at the spot stupidly shooting arrows, and getting quickly killed by the tower fire.
___ There is something wrong in the 5 scenario (where you invade India). In almost the very beginning, when you are returning to get a reinforcement, the AOK-TC stops to function. Then it shutdowns itself.
It can happen if one used a trigger to rename, or change HP, or kill, or remove an object. Then, by some reason, this object was removed from the game, but thr trigger was left. Then sometimes it leads to scenario crashes.
Would it be possible to check for this bug, and maybe put this revised 5 scenario even separetly [say, into the "Single Player"], so that I can download and play
Thanks for nice campaign,
THIS CAMPAIGN IS IMPLAYABLE! THE CPX. FILE IS NOT IN THE ZIP! PLZ PUT IT IN.
I unzipped the file into my AOE II campaign folder, but when I went to play it, nothign happened. I have the .CPX file and everything, but when I load the conquerors to play it, the custom campaign button is unclickable. Please give me some help. Nyackmokane@aol.com or firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you.
somthing is royally screwed up. I dont have the cpx file. I will cry now. dloading regular AOK version until a release with the cpx is uploaded
Sometimes the music of the campaign doesn't works...even though i've turned off the original music.
Can someone tell me why?
the campaign file is still not there. i tried it multiple times. can someone email me a working copy?
THIS IS THE BEST CAMPAIGN THAT I PLAYED IN ALL MY LIFE, IF YOU THINK THAT "SABATO THE WITCH" IS BEST YOU ARE COMPLETELY WRONG, I RECOMMEND YOU TO DOWNLOAD IT AND PLAY, CAUSE THIS IS AN WORK OF ART, CONGRATULATIONS TO THE TEAM THAT DESIGNED THIS CAMPAIGN (Christopher T. Novais)
Everything worked out great. No technical problems at all. Excellent mix of different battle styles and scenario types. No lag problems.
Exteremely challengin in many areas. Much micromanagement is required. It's definitly winnable, however. Lots of side goals and quests to fufill. The campaign brings the best out of RPG, FF, and B/D in all areas.
Absolutely brilliant. The work and ideas put into this scenario is amazing. Infiltrating Delhi is fun. The part where Minamoto is totured with the Britney Spears music is quite funny.
Map Design: 5
It was as if every forest, every road, every town and village, every river or stream, and every elavation change was given an unbelievable amount of work. These maps are amazing in the quality, realism, and variety.
Excellent instructions and story. I love an Age of Empires scenario when I learn about History like this one. A thrilling adventure to say the least.
Brilliant. This is hands down the best campaign ever. They need to hire this team to do the Age of Empires III scenarios. This was awesome.
