The Last Samurai
This is a fictional scenario about a samurai called Nobunaga. The story takes place in feudal Japan where misery and chaos prevail.
V110 Features:
-Over 346 triggers.
-The story is a mixed of several of my favorite video games, Japanese animations, and Samurai movies.
-Talk to everyone you meet by selecting unit(s).
-Main characters (units with name) will have new comments/information as you progress through the game.
-4 Cities, 3 towns, 2 villages, and more.
-The game has plenty of secret scenes and dialogue, which help understand the story better.
-Features Xpension advantages.
-RPG elements such as gaining experience after every battle and more.
-Lightning Samurai Action.
Finally, I would like to thank all the playtesters because they have contributed a lot on improving and optimizing this game into what you see today.
Good luck and most importantly have fun!!!
The story continues in The Last Samurai II/The Last Samurai III Demo |

I think I'll answer to some of the post.
About the creativity, first of all I am not Japanese, so I did have a hard time to find Japanese names. I took names from many games, movies, and even Karate masters. Also, the I mentioned that the story was based on my favorite games, and I also added a lot on the story.
About details, I know there are quite a few trees, but they were there for a reason. They prevent players from reaching areas where they shouldn't be. At least I thought it was a good way to deal with the problem. I also, reduced trees with every new version that I made.
About Balance, I believe that the game is fairly balanced, but it could have been better when you gather a lot of units. However, when I did the game, I was assuming that some people do not micro manage their units to perfection, so I tried to be fair to all players.
Anyway Thanks for your comments XenoG_Leader, and I'm glad you enjoyed playing this game.
Finally, I want to say that this game was probably my last game that I will do, but you never know in life...
This game took me roughly 4 hard weeks with at least 5 hrs a day, so if I ever make another game it will probably a while from now.
Thanks for playing. |

Great campaign good story and fun to play.Below i will give my reveiw ill let the professionals do the offical review.
playability-4 theres only 1 scenario and that leaves you wanting more.the one scenario is very good though
creativity-4 the names(example Rikimaru)were copied from other games movies etc.the base af the story was also copied but it was changed quite a bit.
balance-4 many tough battles and they arent hack and slash you sometimes need strategy.but when you get a army going things get alot easier.advice more enemies at the maji cult
detail-4 way too many trees otherwise very good
story/instructions-5 great, you'll never get stuck on parts where you dont know what to do(just the fights are touugh)
overall-4.3
try to think up your own story and less trees
most fun i ever had in a campaign good job!=) i look forward to more campaigns from you.

Brilliant scenario! I think it deserves a 5/5. Great battles
against the bosses. I love the idea that Nobunaga gain strength
after killing an enemy. Also, the story is easily understandable
and the secrets are good also (though a bit easy to find).
I'm looking forward to a multi-scenario campaign of this level. |

mmhh ... ...
Nice map design and lotsa triggers but i dislike the fact that it's all ripped of : Names , story , phrases
You could better name it Tenchu.
Ok , i can understand that you can't come up with Japanese names, but steal everything from games!?
Anyway, it's a great map |
