Relic Central Map II
Some of you may recall that I made a Relic Map about two months ago and posted it here at AoKH, with quite a success. Well, after playing the map for a long time with friends I have made some radical changes in it.

Upto 8 players can play this map.

Suited For:
People who like Tactical Warfare
People who are looking for something different.
All DM loving guys.
Multiplayer Team, FFA and shimo games.

I quote map info from the Relic Central Map I

Starting Conditions
Each player starts with 30K of all resources in post-imperial age. Except for Gold... which starts at 25000.
The Mainland
It is a medium sized square with step like elevation in the center, and a plateau. The mainland has approx 50 relics strewn about. The elevation gives a nice bonus to the ranged units on top of the plateau. The players are supposed to collect the relics if they have to maintain the inflow of gold. Believe me, when the fighting is as intense as it was in this game, you will need all the gold in the world. The initial phase is very intense with everyone trying to wrest the control of the mainland to collect enough relics for himself.

The connecting Roads
The mainland is connected to the 8 fortresses by long roads that have double fortified walls just near the fortresses. This makes the relic carrying monks easy targets of cavalry, unless protected by troops.

The Fortress
The fortress has 5 each of Range, Stable, Barrack, Workshop & Castle. There are no TCs and no villagers. It also has a wonder to beautify () the layout.

The Objective
The player with the highest points at the end on one game hour is the winner.

Changes Made in Version II:

There are multiple ways of getting to the central Relic Mountain so you could access the mountain even if blockaded by the enemy. This also means that the opponent finds it easier to get to your base and wreak havoc. Watch out…

No new buildings added, except the Market. This allows the players to outsmart their opponents in the economic aspect too.

Each player now starts off with 25 Saboteurs each. These are very much like “land based demolition ships”… micromanage them well and two of these can take down 40 War Elephants… or die trying.

or the one where the Spies/Treason tech is disabled:

Hope you have as much fun playing this map as much as I had making it.

While playing this map on the zone, just keep this in mind.
Do NOT change your civ color at the battle screen. Let it be what the computer gave you as default.
