Chess III - UU wars!

Just another one in the long line of maps where military warfare is the king. The emphasis here is team warfare. Coordinate your attacks with your teammates, and you win. Otherwise, you will be the one sighing and saying "gg".

The Map:
Terrain especially designed to make for an exciting tactical battle, with cliffs & elevations, forests & mountains. There are six player fortresses, three of them towards North. There is a Ruin Hill located far East.

Starting Conditions:
Each player starts with 10 of every UU, 5 S.Onagers & 5 Bombard cannons. There is no option available to train new units. You must capture and hold the Ruin Hill to get reinforcements.

The Objective:
Kill the opponent kings to win.

How to go about it:
Read the HINTS section.

Special Features:

*+* If you have a monk on the "Ruin Hill" (located at the far right), you will get reinforcements every 100 seconds... as long as you hold the hill.

*+* Once you monk is killed, another will be created in your base.

*+* The tower in your base is very important, guard it with your life for if it is destroyed, you will not be able to get any reinforcements.

You will, as always, have to strike a balance between offence and defence. You cannot afford to leave your base undefended, as your King will then be vulnerable to attacks. On the other hand, let the opponents take the Ruin Hill and they will grow stronger by the minute.

Moreover, as in real combat, you have to depend on your allies to TELL you where they are and what they are doing... as Cartography tech has been disabled. This gives the team making a concious effort at coordination a very big edge. So roll up your sleeves and prepare for some hectic communication... your life depends on it.

One of the teammates holding the Ruin Hill is as good as all three holding it. This justifies the extreme placement of the Hill. Sometimes, you are better off supporting your partner passively... the choice is up to you.

Remember that you are not going to be able to train more units... use what you have wisely, and don't forget the terrain advantage.

Hope you enjoy playing the game!
