Cool Rpg. I think its now better than Legend Of Invasion II. more advanced. you can Select your Hero In Game.No kill Stuff but gain level On Checkpoints.
Remeber: Use hardest difficulty, Normal reveal, dark age and most important Dont level any slot empty Put Comp in place Of Open Or Empty slots.Dont move colors Up.
More Challenging and It is possible. Watch out for traps.
GOOD LUCK

Well looks like Brutish has managed to submit another crappy rpg did you make this yourself? its ok but the skinny path sux and whats the insentive to play if all you have to do is put your hero on a flag to upgrade? thats not very rpg like at all the main thing that defines an rpg is upgrading your character by gaining experience through killing units i have to suggest that you skip this one and check out Apocalypse Quest and Apocalypse Quest The Return :) |

"The Heroes Return" by Brutish_Khanz is a under-average scenario, your everyday zone multiplayer game. In this review I will tell why it scored so low.
Playability
The reason this score is a 1, is because after walking for a few seconds, you encounter a pavilion and a gate. Maleheureusment, several units start appearing, and they do not stop until the pavilion is destroyed.
Since the gate is in front of path which the tent is on, it is near to impossible to destroy the pavilion without 30-40 soldiers coming after you. This happens at least 25 times in the scenario. Let me tell you, this gets EXTREMELY boring. In addition, it takes at least 15 minutes to beat each pavilion. I must admit that I quit playing this after an hour and a half.
Balance
Now why this is so low, this could easily be prevented, because your men have an unreasonable amount of attack, so defeating enemies is incredibly easy, and once you get to a "checkpoint" you get stronger, at least +30 attack, so you can kill almost anything in 1 or 2 shots. I was going to give this a 3 because I played single-player, but then I realised that if you have 6 more allies, this 6x easier! So on that fact I lowered it to a 1. Sorry about that my friend.
Map Design
This is where it shines the most. The map at the start is just jungle, with an overuse of flowers, then it changes to forest, whcih seems even more ugly. Then the terrain keeps chnaging from things such as snow, or palm trees. Another thing which I disliked, was that it was just a path neraly 90% of the time. The reason this gets a 2 rather then a 1, is because when the terrain changes, it is just one kind of forest. Large oak forest, large jungle, and so on.
Story / Instructions
This gets a 1, rather then the average 3, was because of that there were several spelling mistakes. Another reason it is so low it is because there is no story, and the instructions you get are "Destroy the Kings castle".
Ups
-Fun if you like endless hours of standing around and killing things.
Downs
-Poor map design
-Poor story
-Mediocre idea
-Much too easy
-Much too dreary
I would recommend this to the average zoner who's favourite room is the custom scenario room. |
