This is a map of the world where players build up and destroy each other. Hardly an original concept but a fun one nonetheless.
How does one rate playability in a scenario where the playability of it relies on the basic factors of the game it is designed for...?
Well the continents are all arranged in a fair manor and wherever you go there are ample resources for a good match, and it still retains an accurate map of the world. One thing i noticed is that rivers are less sparse and land masses are larger than other World Maps, this means that whoever has the largest Navy is not indestructible and land armies play a larger role, which is nice. When i played this i had lots of fun, it is a fun scenario and in the playability department it is as good if not better than other World Maps i have played. Playability Score: 4
Each player starts in a good position to get to an area of land quickly and each area of land has a good, but not too good, amount of resources available for the player. That's really all there is to Balance and it's done well. Balance Score: 5
With it being a map of the world, an idea that has been done since the dawn of AOK, Creativity is somewhat limited. Since it has been made differently so that Navies are less effective, it would be unfair to give it a 1. Creativity Score: 2
It is an accurate copy of the world, all the continents are in place and the shape is correct, forests and mountains are in place too. Eye Candy and terrain have been used to full extent to create an effective combination of a sweet looking map and one that is good to play on too. Map Design Score: 5
Story / Instructions:
I'd love to give this scenario something here, but unfortunately story or instructions are non existant. There isn't so much as a welcoming message, a shame really. S/I Score: 1
Overall Score: 3.4/5.0
Fusion Studios World Map by LividCoffee is an excellent scenario and i would recommend it to anyone looking for a good game, the parts where the score fell down are negligible to this type of game so don't be afraid to download it and go kick some glutius maximus!
