Bound for Glory, Chapter 1

Author File Description
File Details
Version: Age of Kings 1.0
Style: Mix
This is the first scenario of a campaign that will probably
encompass 10 or so scenarios when it is complete. However,
this scenario took much longer than I expected, and so I'm
going to wait and see if there is any interest / enthusiasm
for the rest of the campaign before I continue.

This first scenario, Chapter 1, introduces the world and the
major players in the campaign. It is more role playing than
hack-and-slash, and it probably owes more than a little to
Ingo Van Thiel's excellent campaigns.

There are over 600 triggers (mostly for dialogue), and the
scenario is about as non-linear as a scenario can get.
Some conversations can change depending on what you've
done in the past, so there's even replayability if you're
looking for that sort of thing.

Napolean Hello i think your campaign was the best thing ever please i repeat please continue making them.i just got this game last week. I have been realy busy on trying other peoples campaigns and i thought this was stellar. one question in your hints you said the team lock might been on it was on mine but all team locks we're off. And i couldnt find any skirmish mode, so where is it?

I tried to reply here before, but for some reason it didn't work. So let me try this again.

It was my mistake. AOK doesn't actually use the term "skirmish mode." (Some ther games do.) So instead of that, insert "deathmatch / random match / regicide mode."
The Conquistador Very well done, SWC. I reviewed it, btw.

Nice scenario, man. Nice character interaction and personality. The map design (terrain) could use some work, but otherwise I had some fun. :-)
The_Stranger I'm sure this scenerio did take longer than the author expected--it is quite well done. The triggers alone probably cost him a good deal of pain. It is also quite funny but, unlike some other scenerios wherein humour attempts to play a part, the jokes do not weary the player or bog down the plot. I do not post often, at all, really, but I wanted to encourage this author to keep on with the campaign (if it pleases him); I thoroughly enjoyed it.

To the Conquistador
You should not review original AoK, if you're playing TC, not if you don't solve side quests and specially not if you don't explore the whole map, this leads to missing the clue to win with AoK. So next time you see an unexpected army go to saved game or restart. Your review should help and not confuse.
Shadowkhan Where are the other chapters?
I want more!
Its one of the greatest story I saw in a game, the second chapter can only be better.
Keep improving with scenario like that!
Jas the Mace1 It was a good game! I thought it ended a little abrubtly though....
