Version: The Conquerors 1.0c
This AI is a non-cheating one. It can't handle water maps. It is designed for a Random game. I am sure this AI will not be easy to destroy at all, it has a nice style. The best settings are: Arabia (or BF) pop limit 200 Starting age: Dark age, and map size 4 player or bigger.

Steve D. This AI didn't seem to do very well in some tests I ran against
other AI's. It was quickly defeated in all scenario's I ran.
avi This AI is Suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i sorry to say this, but you don't know to build AI scripts
Sebastian I'm frankly suprised at how other people like to comment people's work.
bjr112 The reason it doesn't do well against other AI's is probably because they cheat. I have used this AI before and although it is not the best non-cheating AI script I have seen it is a decent script.
Phoenix is an AI designed for both random map and deathmatch. It rushes, attacking with militia sometime in mid-feudal (which it doesn't upgrade until fairly late, by the way). It is a complete failure at attacking, I was able to fend it off its persistant attacks with nothing more spectacular than a few archers and skirmishers.

It manages a decent economy in the early game, but farms too early and drops lumber and mining camps in the oddest of spots. While I was testing it, it would repeatedly put a lumber camp in the middle of my base, and have several villagers cutting wood. Aside from wasting a lot of villager walking time, it is depressingly easy to raid. Once it reaches castle it makes crossbowmen. long swordsmen and knights, you can usually kill it by raiding its gold. Phoenix is slow to upgrade, trains very few villagers, and can be beaten by anyone once the game reaches castle and imperial. In AI wars it is below average -- and while this is in part due to the fact that it doesn't cheat, it loses to many non-cheating AIs. One Gothmog AI was able to defeat a team of 3 Phoenixes on arabia. Even the standard ES AI on hard can defeat it 1vs1.

Phoenix will only build one military building of each type, and so builds an army very slowly. It often attempts to forward build, but doesn't do a good job of judging where to place the foundations and the forward buildings usually get destroyed. Perhaps worst of the AI's faults, it only ever makes 50 or so villagers in the entire game (by comparison, 130 is usually a standard number of villagers to have in late imperial on the Zone).

While Phoenix shows promise, this is mostly eclipsed by the AI's shortcomings. Recommended to inexperienced players.
