NOTE: I don't have AoK: TC yet and when I do I'll change the AI into one for AoK: TC.
This AI was meant to be released about 5 months ago but I didn't have time) So, AoK Computer AI are TOO easy? Beat all the tough AIs and find nothing to do but play on-line with other players? Think again, if you are soo good, fight Pyro_Bot_v1.0 one-on-one, I don't think you'll win (even you AoK pros and masters might not win). This is one of the toughest AIs for Ages of Kings (AoK). What TOUGH AI did it beat? It defeated many AIs since as Cheater and Havoc Bot. THINK YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BEAT PYRO_BOT?!!!! WELL, BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!
How to Install
Simple, just move the two files (.per and .ai) in the AI folder in your AoK folder. To play them in Random Game/Regicide/Deathmatch games, click on "Computer" or your name and select a civ (any civ). To play Pyro_Bot_v1.0 in your map, go to "Players" and change "Standard" to "Pyro_Bot_v1.0".
What Pyro_Bot_1.0 does
Pyro_Bot_v1.0 still sounds like a sucker to you? Well, this is what it does:
- Advances through Ages as soon as possible.
- Builds a powerful Military.
- Has a better Attack System than MDE.
- Has a powerful offense and defense.
- Has a Counter System.
- Doesn't give up without a fight.
- Very strong enemy or ally.
- Taunts opponents.
- In late Imperial, they have a HUGE EMPIRE (if not screwed up some way).
- Tributes to 1,000 Food/Wood/Gold/Stone at a time.
- Has double-wall feature.
- And much more stuff.
Theses bugs perhaps weakens Pyro_Bot badly, here they are:
- They tend to guard Relics

This is a very challenging AI if you like to use cheats. By a
cheat I mean it gives itself unlimited resources and collects
very little of it's own. In a non cheat game it would be severely
I ran this AI alone against 6 opponents in a standard random
map game and it beat them within 20 minutes (fast speed). It
creates silly amounts of troops and launches coordinated and
effective attacks. It doesn't, however, seem to work very well
on island maps. Also, the taunts are somewhat badly written and
are set to trigger way too often.
A not cheat version of Pyro Bot without the taunts would be
very fun to play against.

This AI ROCKS!!!!!!!! It's fun when you watch it play agnest outher AI's, keep up the good work. :-)

To Theesus: Hey, thanks man.
To Steve D: If you read what I said, there will be a non-cheating Pyro_Bot coming out soon. This AI is suppose to build massive military (or silly amount of military if you prefer) and dominate those who oppose it.
The non-cheating AI will be called Hyper_Bot and it's almost ready to go (about 85% complete). What Hyper_Bot is better than Pyro_Bot is that it uses a orignal script (I did it myself, in other words I wrote all the lines) and it relies on complete AI skills (meaning non-cheating).
