Gem I have downloaded quite a few scenario's from the Blacksmith, yours is the best one I have played so far.
I love the sense of humour and storyline. It makes a change from the humdrum B & D's.
I have to say TOP JOB BullsWool.
Keep up the good work.
This deserves a shiny 5 in my books.

Thankyou for your comment Gem.
I'm glad you liked it.

Romodude This was a fairly good scenerio, good triggers, sense of humor, story was okay, map design was good. I have only one question, at the end why does Per-whatever his name was disapear? Either way, this was worth the download.

Ok glad you liked it.

Premithius does not really dissapear.

Well he does, if you read carefully he receives his knighthood and rides off into the wild blue yonder.

Of course when he changes to paladin, I was unable to change his name as he is a new unit.

But you know you don't have to finish the story that way.

The Conquistador
Map Design5.0
A pretty good scenario that has excellent map design and well-rounded good scores. Definitely one of the more impressive scenarios I have played.

The playability was mediocre. The author tried to use extremely complicated trigger manuevers that are not fool-proof. I have played it twice and discovered three separate bugs, with one of them being a fatal bug. I won't tell you what the fatal bug is, but it does make the scenario a lot easier.

The balance is also mediocre. As I said, a pretty bad bug makes the only hard part of the scenario, the sieging of the city and assassination of the king, extremely easy. However, the rest of the scenario was good so a satisfactory 3 is deserved.

The creativity is pretty good. A modpack is included which makes gameplay much better and I liked the complex trigger manuevers very much. However, because these trigger manuevers sometimes fail, a full five is not what should be given.

The map design is fantastic and definitely the one of the best I have seen. The author made the terrain look very good and the city design was amazing. Two thumbs up for map design!

The story and instructions are good. The instructions was good, as you know what you are doing all the time. The story was also there. But, the story was a little bleak and kind of illogical. So, a 4 is the mark that goes here.

+ Points

- Good map design
- Good creativity and story

- Points

- Mediocore playability and balance

Final Thoughts: This author is definitely one of the most talented I have ever seen since I don't ever recall giving somebody a 3.8 for their first scenario ever. I hope to that he continues to design scenarios and campaigns. Again, two thumbs up for him!
The Conquistador Very good work, Bullswool :-).
laz123 What are you supposed to do after the monk dies and there's no transport or way to get to the nothern province and your allies turn enemy?

Quote, "...there's no transport..." I took rides on three different transports during the scenario. After the monk dies you should find a witness, the city is ally to you after you killed the red Paladin. There is a Gaia transport at the harbor, approach it and click it, your unit will board the ship to the Northern Province. The green player will change ally the moment you visit your friend Dellon.
