Version: The Conquerors
The Devastation Ai is for use in Post-Imperial Death Match games with the Hun civilization, population setting 200. It does not use any cheats at all.

Do NOT use any setting other than Post-Imperial, as the Devastation Ai will NOT do any research. The Ai should work with civilizations other than Huns, but it has not been tested with other civilizations. Hence, it is strongly recommended to use only the Huns civilization for the Devastation Ai.

The Devastation Ai will work on any map, but it will not build boats. So if you use it on an island map, it will be at a severe disadvantage. It has been thoroughly tested on continental, coastal, black forest maps, and fortress maps.

The Devastation Ai is stronger if paired with an ally that tributes it when requested. Try it with the Duke Ai. If it has an ally, it will build trade carts for trading.

Difficulty settings should not affect its play. If it seems too difficult to play against at first, try a fortress map to give you protection at the beginning.

It will not build a wonder, but it will gather relics. I hope you enjoy playing against it (or possibly with it for team games).

Many Thanks to iX_RouGhNeCk_Xi for the ScAvEnGeR Ai, which gave me the idea for the Devastation Ai, and upon which the Devastation Ai is based on in significant part.

The way the Devastation Ai works, is that it builds military forces very quickly and often deals a fatal blow to enemies right at the start. The Devastation Ai is especially deadly on open terrain, where it is able to rapidly get to the enemy and devastate everything in its path.

With Devastation (Huns) against Alliance 3.7c (Teutons) on a coastal map, hard setting, tiny map, Devastation won in a game time of 15:19. For the same settings, with Alliance 3.7c as Mayans, Devastation won in 9:47.

For Devastation (Huns) against The Duke (Mayans) on a coastal map, hard setting, tiny map, Devastation won in a game time of 8:30. For the same settings against the Ottoman Ai, Devastation won in 13:15.

In team play, same settings, except for a larger map for four players, Devastation (Huns) & The Duke (Koreans) v. Seljuks (Goths) & Alliance 3.7c, Devastation and The Duke won in a game time 20:46. First Devastation destroyed the Alliance in 10:30. Then Devastation finished The Seljuks at 20:46, which ended the game. The Duke started building a wonder at about 6:00, and finished the wonder at about 13:00.

Devastation uses up its gold very quickly. It's better if Devastation is paired with an ally that builds a strong economy and periodically tributes Devastation and lets Devastation knock out the enemies. Devastation does try to keep its economy going,though, by mining gold, trading, gathering relics and so forth.

BTW, the Ottoman & Seljuk Ai's can be downloaded under "The Turks [DM]" by Marksman. For the above tests, I was using variants of the Ottoman & Seljuks that would build boats.

I just loaded it down and skimmed through.....

For it`s Purposes it is very good. There was an old DM-Script named "chicken" from Macca.(also hun)

It consits of 2Rules only, and builded knights and light-cav en masse. The Problems were, that it used only 1Builder(for stables), and the town-size was set to default (there was no rules for it) - so the Villager had to go long ways to build the stables.

I mention this coz yesterday a friend of mine and me checked for some Bot DM-Battles - and we had the Idea to make an "Chicken-Supreme".

You just did it. it`s good. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

Zycat A strong one, but it needs some gathering controls.
It still has many rooms for improvements, especially the housing part (Yeah Huns doesn't need housing, but for other civs...)

When the enemy successfully fend off its attacks it is easily destroyed, probably because of lack of post-conflict controls.

I have updated it a bit as I too noticed it was a little too easy to beat when the first attack was smothered.

I also have uploaded it to the AI Downloads without your permission, and under a new name (Sorry if you don't want any updates down without your permission!).

Tell me if you are unhappy with me uplaoding a newer version, and I will try to get it down as soon as possible.
