The Conquerors 1.0c |
Ooops, sorry for another update, but as well as fixing some errors in the first version of this AI I also created a few, these have now been fixed:
It didn\'t work at all with the Aztecs (I dunno why some people say the gameplay with the Aztecs was an improvement).
The siege units didn\'t get created at all since there was a spelling mistake - I typed in CELTI-CIV instead of CELTIC-CIV which made none of the siege units get created at all.
The AI should now react to the command \'31\' (Attack an enemy now!) and so you can control when it attacks (Only once it has at least 50 pop so it can attack usually all the time).
#---------------------------------------------------------#
On another note; the AI still doesn\'t play on coastal or on any other type of water map so please don\'t try to play it on water maps since it will probably by dead because of having no navy.
Please, anyone rate it again, hopefully it will be much higher than 3.5 .
Here is proof that it is much better:
Last version, it lost against Zycat in just 11 minutes or whatever and now it wins in just 10 minutes. (Zycat Franks and Devastation_Dave Huns) |

This A.I is for Post Imperial DM, as far as I know, it won't play other settings. |

Against my A.I on Hard, small Arabia 200 pop-cap :
Devastation Dave 1.0b (Huns) vs Zycat (Huns) = My A.I wins in about 20 minutes.
Devastation Dave 1.0b (Huns) vs Zycat (Sarcs) = My A.I wins in about 20 minutes. I can tell the result even before 10 mins game time, DDave's loses became apparent in about 7 mins game time.
Maybe you should delay your attacks until enough force is massed.
Looking on the code, I found some errors :
You can't use sn-special-attack-type1 like that. It is a switch, so when you set it to 1 your A.I will target monasteries, if 0 then it's normal. The same applies for sn-special-attack-type3, it is for wonder. sn-special-attack-type2 is unused.
All of these aren't used anymore, don't bother with 'dat :
sn-attack-intelligence
sn-percent-civilian-explorers
sn-percent-civilian-builders
sn-percent-civilian-gatherers
sn-special-attack-type2
sn-relic-return-distance
I wonder what is the best setting & civ for your A.I. |

You sure? I tested it against my A.I and it loses in about 35 mins! D_Dave(Huns) vs Zycat(Franks) Small Arabia 200 pop-cap, score was about 11000 vs 18000!
It didn't bring enough sieges (only one trebs and 2 rams) on the first attack.
It trains cav archers & two handed swordsman endlessly, making it didn't have enough gold for training pallys, so my A.I countered with skirms & TA & pallys ;) . |

Yeah, it only plays Post Imp DM...
And I am positive that Dev. Dave beat Zycat 1.0 in 10:30 exact (Green Arabia, smallest, hardest, dave - huns, zycat - franks).
Thanks for your comments, I might try to update it with some of your suggestions, thanks! |

Oh so it's for hardest? Mind you, in Hardest my A.I removes standard cheats of 2000 of each resources..... I suggest you test in in Hard, where A.Is does not cheat. |
