How do I use an AI file!? I downloaded this, and can't figure out where it went. I can't find the file and didn't notice any changes in the game. Can someone help me? |

Simply extract the file to Age of Empire 2/AI/
Then start random map game, change the players computer into The Dragon and you will have this AI be used. |

It appeared on the dropdown list, but as soon as the game started, a box came up with: "AI Script Error" plus the offending player and file. |

My overall thoughts are: well done! The Dragon is not an easy opponant to defeat, and should be useful to players of all skill levels. Quite a bit of emphasise has been placed upon versatility -- The Dragon handles almost any strat well, and can be played on any map, any game type. It responds to taunts, thus allowing you ersatz control during the game. Unlike many RM AIs, it plays Death Match as well as an AI specially crafted for it. However, it has a major flaw: its ability to adapt. If you go to the castle age before it, then it's smoked, even if it does manage to get to castle itself without you killing it. I find that it's slow to train knights, and continues relying upon feudal age units well into the game, not even upgrading them. Your AI is slow to change strategy and adapt to current situations. I also noticed that it could use a bit of improvement upon water maps, it seems to only train boats from one dock at a time. I recommend this AI.
RECOMMENDED FOR
-- Players practising build orders
-- Rooks to intermediates
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR
-- Players past the intermediate level |

I've been looking for a good AI for my Britannia scenario and this one might be what I'm looking for, I'll try it out. |
