“Hun Campaign” is a 8 scenario campaign telling the story of the Huns and the Romans except that it has almost nothing to do with the historical story. While it is overall a drag to complete it does have it’s high points.

Playability- This campaign was mixed with enjoyable and boring scenarios. Most of the scenarios are B&D and not as exciting but there are a few which keeps your interest for a while. But since there is a bug that does not allow you to pass the second level without cheating the rating must go down to a 2.
(If the bug was removed, the 6 horses in the 2nd scenario, and perhaps a little more action in that same scenario and)

Balance- It was overall pretty easy, easier than a normal random map, and almost no challenge during the whole campaign. This was not a high point. For those who want an easy FF/B&D with a little bit of a story and some very well balanced scenarios. But attention must fall on the 5th scenario which was very well balanced out to the last unit... making strategy very important. As it is too easy to oppose any challenge the rating becomes a 3.
(You may want to put some more resistance in the second scenarios, perhaps use some custom AI files to get the Romans to be a tougher opponent)

Creativity- This scenario featured pretty good creativity with a rather interesting and strange turn of the story. And having to raid a Roman Village and destroy certain buildings to get certain resources was something not unheard of but it still was interesting. I give it the rating of 3.
(The second scenario was quite boring with many very well known quests that have mostly been featured in the professional Geghis Khan campaign, if new idea for quests were used it would boost this score up)

Map Design- These maps were nothing more and nothing less than random maps. There was no breathtaking design and while it never was bad, it just didn’t live up to the potential. Overall don’t download this scenario for it’s map deisgn. The rating is a 3.
(While I could tell you had personilized the random map a little, more gaia eye-candy and terrain mixing could greatly improve the score)

Story/Instructions- While during the beginning of the campaign you expected it to be a historical campaign of the Huns it turned out to be far too fictious to be believable. At some points you were not really sure what to do so the rating must go down to a 2.
(One very easy and important part of scenario designing is spell checking. How do you expect for someone to take your story seriously if there isn’t even good spelling, also in the 5th scenario it is not clear what you must do to get your army)

+ Has a fairly enjoyable battle scenario.
+/- A very extensive campaign.
- Major bug in the second scenario.
- The story is far too weird to be taken seriously.

Overall: This is a series of random maps with custom objectives and with a storyline. Some may consider it worth the download while others may not.
