While the Nintendo series Zelda is known for its quality, this Zelda series will be known for its mediocrity.
The story in Nintendo Zelda was pretty good, so one might expect to find a good story here as well. Unfortunately, there isn’t much of a story, and the little things that the characters talk about are meaningless. The instructions are virtually non-existent, and the important information is displayed through the dialogue, so if you aren’t quick enough you will miss it.
The playability in this game was awful. I didn’t find any fun factor through out this game.
The balance in this game wasn’t set right. As an illustration, the first chapter is way too easy, and it’s really hard to die. Because this game is so easy, we lose all the challenge and the fun of playing.
I have to say that creativity is perhaps the best part of this game. There is a nice use of triggers such as explosion. I also thought the portals, which moved link from one area to another was very nice. It’s too bad that the other categories aren’t on the same level as the creativity.
The map design was really ugly to look at. I thought that nothing could get worse than the first scenario, but I was wrong because the second chapter is even more boring. I have to say that what saves this game from receiving a 1.0 is the third chapter. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by the third chapter map design, which was far more enjoyable to look at.
In the end, this campaign is not worth the download unless you are a hardcore Zelda fan. For other gamers I suggest you stay away from this one.
