This new random map script is designed for experienced or better players. This map makes flushing easier than on Arabia, and flushing is the only good option on this map. Why? Because the players start much closer together, there are no wolves or jaguars, there is a little less forest near the player start areas than on Arabia, and some resources are located toward the center, giving an advantage in trying to claim that area (and making it even more important to prevent your enemy from claiming it!). The central areas of the map have little elevation, but the periphery of the map, while having lots of resources, also has lots of elevation making rebuilding with town centers there a little hard sometimes (anyone remember Hill Country from ROR?).
Resources are close to standard, with the usual amount of sheep and boar, and a very slight increase in gold and stone. There are some extra deer and a little stone placed in the center of the map for all the players to try to take advantage of. Although the forests seem small and sparse compared to Arabia, there is actually 2% more forested land on this map; the individual clumps are smaller and much of the forests are toward the edges of the map.
