Nomad Immigration is a map where all players start on small islands in the middle of a centrally-located sea with no TC and a starting Transport Ship. You must migrate to the mainland which is around the periphery of the map. The great feature of this map is that allies can start their towns together if desired, lending to better team work.
There are no resources on the starting islands, where players are grouped by teams. On the mainland are resources similar to the ES@Pilgrims map - berries, turkeys, deer, boar and a few wolves, but with more stone and gold than the Pilgrims map. Fish are quite plentiful even thought the ocean is on the small side.
The best civs for this map include Persians with their extra wood, Chinese with their extra vills, and Huns with their no house bonus. All civs are quite playable on this map, though.
Update of June 11 2002 adds Regicide support - only a king added in Regicide, no extra villagers or castle.
This map was created over 1 year ago, played some by my test group, then put aside for some revisions and forgotten. Fortunately it was rechecked and brought out for AOK fans to enjoy!
