It has 3 random options on style map: forest, desert-like or jungle.
The wood clumps over the map are only a few, but you\'ll find 4 big bunches of wood in the
center of the map. These bunches are almost always sepparate each other by terrain roads,
(like a big forest with a cross path inside) however sometimes the roads are blocked with
hills or wood. Inside these bunches of woods you can find a lot of gold scattered in the
forest, jungle or palm_desert trees. Be sure to scout to see if the pathway is open or
closed. The center of the cross could be a good place to install a military base and
cutting wood to reach the gold mines. The pathways could connect you with your enemies
or your allies as well.
A well balanced map, with an excelent eye-candy inclusion that makes a nice visual appeal.
The map was done thinking on a multiplayer game style however for a single player style the AI
could play it well as it is an almost standard starting resources map. Maybe on a long game
the AI gold miners could screw-up because of the thick forest but with the time this problem
could be solved because of the wood-cutting. But remember it was thought as a multiplayer
Instead of wood-cutting you can use siege onagers to open a way to the gold, but be carefull with the use of this strategy, because there is almost no wood on other place of the map, so take care of it as best.
It can be played on all sizes. Regicide style is possible too.
This map is almost a standard resources one.
The starting resources include:
· 6 Berries
· 1 group of 5 gold mines
· 2 groups of 3 gold mines
· 3 group of 3 stone mines
· 2 groups of 4 sheep
· 1 group of 7 deer
· 1 group of 4 deer
· 2 boar
· 2 wolves
· 1 group of 4 straggler trees
· 1 relic per player
Starting units include: Standard villies and a Halberdier as scout (this will change the scoutting because it could be attacked
by wild animals, so take care of him) and 3 outposts (because of the low LOS of the halberdier, the outposts could help to find
resources near you in a faster way, the combination of outposts and halberdier could be used by AI scripters to make the AI to
identify the kind of map).
