This map is a whole random world, of course a flat world! North is on upper left edge.
Temperate regions are made of european-like continents at west and asian-like continents at east; there\'s jungle at the equatorial region, while moving towards the poles you find snow. Some snow may also appear on higher mountains. Deserts and swamps can form at many latitudes.
All lands are usually connected, but sometimes two or more continents may be separated.
Jungle yields extra food, snow yields extra gold, desert yields extra stone; all relics are hidden on polar ices. |

The map is excellent! Sorry for I was unable to get back as soon as I could. By the way, Bultro, have you given up Random Map making like me for a little time. Your maps are great, so you should really surprise us with something again. |

I haven't made any more scripts because I'm out of ideas :) I only make rms when they're something new (except when I made Swamp... later I saw there were about 5 other swamp maps :P ). Do you have some idea to suggest? I'm thinking about an "advanced fortress", with more wall rings, random hero, extern villages, etc... but it's not so original |

By the way, I just submitted my sea of worms map. Give it a try on 2 vs 4 hard. I was with the Franks and I'm trying to survive... Perhaps you'll get some other ideas. |

Perhaps if you could work out a script:
base: islands (smaller than in original scripts!)
start with: walls, towers, random hero, dock, scout, scout ship (galley)
And some pretty terrain... It should be called Atlantis!
Oh, another thing: Resource Islands! |

I already made a map that's similar to your description, it's "Sea bases". Players start surrounded by sea towers and sea walls. I didn't think to call it "Atlantis", but it would have been a nice name :) |

I downloaded that map a long time ago, it is good, but it has the problem of the gates that are in silly firections. The map is otherwise fabulous!!!
-----------------------------------------------------------
Other idea: I have been working on a map of the Mediterranean Sea as an RMS, but it just didn't work out well.
-----------------------------------------------------------
About the double walls idea: I have tried these a long time ago, a bit after "my best 5 rms-s", you know the collection. It never works out. |

World has reached the top 20 and i decided it deserved an update, so here it is :)
- More balanced terrain and forests
- Mines scattered better
- Relics scattered better (3 per pole)
- Scout (ok it was important!)
- Better looking water
- Other small things... |

World is a Random Map Script by Bultro which tries to emulate the varied climates of planet Earth.
Theme: 3
As it’s title suggests this RMS script tries to recreate the world and its varied climates. There are many real world random map scripts available and World is a welcome addition to this. While there are a number of real world script which look exactly as they do in real life, unfortunately world is not one of them. The map does not actually recreate the appearance of our world with its different continents and oceans. What it does do is have different sections which represent the different climates of Earth. In the Northampton south you will find long sheets of ice which represent the North and South Poles. Servers seYou will then find as nice temperate region next to them with a vast desert in the middle. This represents some of the different climates you will find , the ice representing the poles and the desert representing the Sahara. It would ha e been nice to have a bit more variety, maybe adding in some jungle as well and more variety in the desert so it’s not just one large piece of sand in the middle but maybe different desert scattered across the globe like in real life. The premise of the map is really good and creates some exciting standard games, but it just needs a little more work to truly encompass its ambitious theme.
Visual Appeal: 4
The map is quite pleasing to the eye. There is a large variety of terrains used and they are mixed together really nicely. There is a wide variety of objects to fill the map with nice clumps of forests and large lakes and small seas. Eye candy is used well as well with GAIA yurts places around and there is plenty of wildlife to give the world some life. The map is really nicely designed and I really like the variety you can come across on a single map.
Playability: 5
This is we’re the random map shines. Its unique design creates an incredibly fun gaming experience. The game starts as every normal game does, expect players a gifted a pavilion and a single militia as well. Relics are located on two poles and every team is located near one of the pole creating a race to gather the relics. The middle desert serves as a sort of no mans land and can be the location of some intense battles. Resources are also gracefully gifted as there is not shortage of any of them. This makes interesting and intense games because of the amount of resources. Trash unit are rare due to there being more gold so stronger units are used more. This makes choosing your civilization much more a tactic than in other games. The extreme amount of wildlife gifts players with much food. I played a game once where I didn’t need to build a single farm due to the amount of wildlife, fish and forage bushes. Overall this map is extremely entertaining and creates some epic gameplay.
Additional Comments:
An unique and interesting map which is highly enjoyable. A recommended download.
Thanks
Possidon
