Byzantine Monastery is a great modpack and I recommend it to any players who are bored of the original middle-eastern monastery and who want to be amazed. But, the mod had many flaws :
1)The building was a little bigger than its base. This could cause some problems with units and buildings around it. I know there were no ways of fixing it, but I found it annoying.
2)The shadow is a little messed up. The Monastery keeps the old one's shadow and adds a new one. It looks weird to see to kind of shadows. This was easy to fix. The author could have changed the old monastery's shadow to an empty file. It would have fixed the problem.
3)The flag was aligned on the top of the building, but it looked a little weird. It's a very small problem, but I found it bad-looking. It may be impossible to edit it without changing it for every other monasteries, but Nomad could have changed the alignment of the monastery to fix this.
4)This one won't influence the review. One thing I didn't like about it was the fact that it changed the monasteries for the other middle-eastern civilizations. Nomad made this modpack to fix the problem with the mosque belonging to the Byzantine, but he created an other problem by removing the mosque from the other middle-eastern civilizations.
And here are my final thoughts about this modpack :
The modpack is a very good looking building. It is looking very realistic and Nomad sure putted a lot of work in it. But, a few problems forced me to give it a 3.5 and not a 4.0. I’m sure The Nomad could fix these problems easily by taking a few minutes of his free time. The real review I would have given it is : 3.7.
