This is my first mod pack, but it is very cool! Im really proud of it. It changes 2h swordsmen into black knights tested, with no bugs whatsoever. 250 fully detailed hand drawn frames, not copied off another game. Hope you enjoy. Feel free to use it for your RPG campaign if you like.
Turns gaia crack into an eye candy Galeon. Great for eye candy in a scenario ect. Goes on water and land!
Umm.. It didn't uninstall. Is there any way to get my original Two-Handed Swordsman back???

AOK’s Golden Age was a blessing and a curse for our beloved Blacksmith. Back in the early 2000s there were hundred of members of our heaven nodding and designing for AOK and to varying degrees of quality, and unfortunately most of it was on the bottom end of the scale. However amongst all of the badly draw graphics and random map based scenarios, you will find the odd hidden gem that has gone unnoticed for all these years. This Mod Pack just so happens to be one of those hidden gems.
Black Knights by Big Travis is exactly what it’s name implies. This mod pack gives you a knight in black armour and a red sword to add into you game. This unit has a number of uses, whether it’s a villain for your story or a demon, or the missing piece in your AOK version Monty Python and the Holy Grail. If you search the Blacksmith hard enough you will find a number of Black Knights but none like this. For starters, most others are cavalry units, mainly used to represent the Nazgul in Lord of the Rings Mod Packs, or the Nights Watch in Game of Thrones. This unit is an infantry foot soldier which makes it more origina and novel. It was also probably one of the first black knights around when it was made back in 2001. Ultimately this is a fantastic unit which is pretty unique and has a number of solid uses.
All 250 frames of this unit were hand drawn in Paint, which is an impressive feat in itself. Using the Two Handed Swordsman as a base Big Travis has recoloured the units armour to give it the black armour. This is a very well done recolouring and creates a unit which blends in well with the other units in the game. If I was to give some criticism I would say that due to the recolouring the unit can look slightly cartoonish and unrealistic, but for a hand drawn unit done in Paint that is understandable as you are limited with what you can do unless you are a professional artist and know about shading and lighting. The unit also finest have any player colour but does come with a custom icon.
As an old file from 2001 this Mod was uploaded as an AKX file. For those who don’t know AKX files were designed to be used with Mod Pack Studio to directly install the new graphics into the game. However due to the age of the program, MPS no longer works on operating systems newer than Windows XP so alternative programs were created such as Turtle Pack and AGE. These programs use SLP files rather than AKX. However that does not render this Mod Pack useless as there are a number of ways to extract the SLP files from the AKX. One way is to use Vardamir’s Genie Converter program which can be located in the Utilities section of the Blacksmith. Another way is to use 7Zip a free app for Windows to extract the SLPs from the AKX. There are a couple of tutorials in the forums to teach you how to do this.
Overall this is a great mod pack and a hidden gem found in the depths of the Blacksmith. I hope this review will draw attention this amazing unit and that more hidden gems will spring up in the near future.
