When I first tried this mod, I really enjoyed it much as an average unit mod :), and looking at it, it begged for a review.

Score Breakdown:

3.5 – Average: Has only one or two small bugs.

Reason Being- Well, whenever he moves, the shades of black on the ninja sort of look as if he is changing the colors. Nothing major, but distracting.

Score Breakdown:

4.5 – Good: In this case, the modpack is useful and/or has use for other things, but only worth using a few times or perhaps just during a Campaign.

This was the excelling part of his mod, and long time back some people begged for a ninja unit, Chimera offers just that :).

Score Breakdown:

4.0 – Good: Pretty creative. There is something really special to it, something really innovative, but it's not unique and completely new.

that Although this would have received a 5.0 I thought some of the previous authors of the “to-be” ninja mod would be angry about giving Chimera all the credit. So I gave him a 4, plain and simple. If you made this about 5 months ago this would have gotten a 5 ;). No hard feelings, eh?

Score Breakdown:

3.5 – Average: The graphics are OK, but could be better and/or the sounds are a little fuzzy or unclear, but tolerable. The modpack looks/sounds decent in the game, but still looks like it doesn’t quite belong in AoK. The anchors are still a little bumpy, but some effort was put into it.

When I look at it the unit looks as if he has only 2 colors being used, a light black and a darker black. Kind of boring, average though. Also you could have used a blue belt as player color, maybe some day I will try making a ninja mod.

Final Thoughts

-- Playability: 3.5
-- Usefulness: 4.5
-- Creativity: 4
-- Quality: 4
-- Final score: 4

+ A modpack that should have been done months ago is finally finished
+ Very creative way of making it
+ Uses a tiny weapon
- Looks way too much like a villager
- Colors look very disordered
- Replaces the samurai.. Some people wanted to use the samurai to actually fight a ninja.
- Use some player color on it, but keep it a dark color
- Use a more variety of colors on the unit
- Make it replace a unit other than a samurai
- Use a swordsman as a unit template, next time :)

Overall, good job Chimera, nothing to “oooo” or “ahhh” at, but these light unit modpacks, are very useful for campaigns.
Lord Anatoly They look alot like the Ninjas in Shogun Total War: The Warlord Edition.
Sebastian2 Yeah i agree he does look a lot like the ninja in Shogen Total War. anyway i think it looks fantastic but that blue outline really spoils it, u should of made the belt and its mask the players colour instead. one question: how did u edit the icon?
