I like the effect of having broken road under your buildings. It especially looks nice in Black Forest scenarios(unless the buildings are on snow, in which case it uses snow grass instead of dirt2.) However, this was merely an exchange of one graphic for another. A very nice exchange(you could do it just as easily in scenario editor), but a simple exchange nonetheless.

So it's just like cossacks then, cool.
The buildings in cossacks have 2 or 3 tiles of road under their buildings - makes it real. More like a "city"
