The City!

Author File Description
File Details
Version: The Conquerors 1.0c
This is a large city template which you can use map copy to add it to your scenario ( with modifications if you wish ) but please, please, include my name in your credits =), you won't be disappointed with this city, even though this is my first submission.

-30 Triggers ( Not many needed for a plain Map Copy use scenario )

-Subtle Monty Python humor in a few places, namely look around the rocks with the shipwreck.

-Transports ( Siege Rams ) that carry you from one part of the city to the other. ( Thanks to the person who did the Train Demo scenario for this idea!

-Inter-city trade with trade carts ( Carts on patrol to the opposite market of the one they start at )

-Task object on farms will be included for every villager in the NEXT release, I'm antsy to see how the public will receive my first scenario before I get into something that tedious. ( V 1.1 )

-Change Object Name trigger used prodigiously, expect some odd names in places.

-Patrol trigger used a LOT

-Some click and talk interface. ( Expanded in 1.1 )

-Lots of building overlapping.

-Loads and loads of eye candy!

-Lifelike setting

-Not quite geographically accurate in some places ( e.g Oak Forest near Jungle ) but it adds to the appearance ( in my opinion, remember to tell me what you think of this in Player Comments in the AOKH downloads!)

-Pastoral village for your viewing pleasure in the Northeast corner of the map.

-Realistic shipyards, ships seem to be in the proccess of construction.

-Any of you catch the joke with the name of the guy in front of the Wonder?

UPCOMING ( Sketchy right now )
-Interactive citizens e.g greet you, try to sell you something..
-Task Object on farms, I think I have a simple way and more believable way of doing this rather than a separate trigger for each villager..I'll post it in the Scouts section ( that will be removed and replaced with a continuation of "Hints" in 1.1 with a number of other changes and this will have an expanded Version History.
-Definitely more to come but as of now I am not sure, it depends largely on how the public receives this. Please, when you comment, if you criticize make it constructive, not just "HAY THIS SUCKS DUDE MAN FIX IT UP OK?!?!??!?!" =)

Thank you! I'm really glad that someone took the time to respond, especially a positive response. I'll definitely make an update now..but for that I could use some suggestions. Is there anything anyone wants added/fixed?
Cshunter2000 Wow Nice!!! I LOVE THE TRANSPORTS ALSO.

L8eR Man Hope to see your add on soon
antpocas This is great! Im going to create a scenario based on the one you said you would create(the one that you play with Mondre)
Render My opinion do another on with interactive viliagers. But dont submit it to the utility section (Although I would never have found it if I wasnt looking for the campagin extractor).

good work keep it up.
Ebar I have to say your city is a little bit too rigid- I don't get the city feel. Toss some triggers in ther and spice up the villagers, then you'll have nice town. I'm working on one now myself. Hope you get a chance to try it.
UnsungHero Great! Marvolous! Stupendous! Just one question:

Why is it a util?
Sebastian2 Man this is fantastic! i think im gonna do a korean version of this thx, one question:how did u get buildings on top of buildings or units on top of buildings?
Life L33ch sebastian2, it is easy to put units on buildings. all you need to do lets say is put down any building and any unit, then go to terrain and go to map copy. then copy the unit and paste it on an area in a building. its simple :) try it!
Evil Sephiroth Man, this util SO kicks ass. And the Monty Python humour actually made me chuckle, in a rare lapse of concentration. Very good job!
