The Conquerors 1.0c |
This is MPS 2.0 for use with Age of Kings and The Conquerors Expansion. For more information, see the Mod Pack Studio Homepage
EDIT: Please read the topic in the link below before posting a question.
Mod Pack Guidance Center Thread
Mod Pack Studio 2.0 runs with all versions of Windows*. However, you may receive an error message, "16-bit MS-DOS Subsystem...The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications..."
Reason, one or more of the following files are missing and/or damaged on your computer, autoexec.nt, command.com, and config.nt.
This is NOT a Windows or Mod Pack Studio 2.0 problem, the cause seems to be a Downloader Trojan on your computer (maybe TrojanDownloader.Win32.Dia.a) which places programs on your machine, removing and/or damaging autoexec.nt, config.nt and command.com.
For more information go Here. You will find a free download to restore the three files, unzip and copy them to C:\WINDOWS\system32. You should also look into the recommended actions.

I am still messing around with my brand new laptop to try to change the colour profile etc. When I am installing the downloaded zip-file etc., I get this error notification that the MPS-program is incompatible with the 64 bit version of Windows, i.e. the one I have currently.

LOL... I like how almost all of the comments on this have to do with questions about installation errors and downloading issues, yet no one seems to have answers... |

Everytime I try to do a certain thing, eg; clicking on "extract all" or "decompile mod pack install script" it crashes and this windows message comes up, "For 32-bit Microsoft Windows Platforms has stopped working". I have no idea what is wrong, help would be appreciated thank you. |

Ok, I've got a problem. I am on Windows 7. I downloaded the file, extracted mpssetup.exe and ran it. The standard W7 Security Warning came up and I told Windows to 'Run' the file. The InstallShield confirmation window appeared saying "This will install AOK Mod Pack Studio. Do you wish to continue?" Seeing as I want to enjoy all the fabulous mods I see here I, of course, clicked 'Yes.' InstallShield "Please wait while InstallShield extracts the files which will install this application." Then I get the 'waiting' cursor and... nothing happens. :( Do I need to enable something? Does MPS simply not work on Windows 7? Is there something else at play here??? |

I've got a 64bit system and it's telling me that the application is incompatible with it.
So is there a way that I can get MPS that it will work on my computer? |
