Fish This campign is not worth the d/l. At the start of each map you either win or lose. if the author fixed this problem i bet it would be a good campaign.
Teuchter I agree with Fish, don't download, scene 1 lasts approx 1 second until you lose. It is surreal.
Another point - the instruction file is in Word format rather than txt, annoying for those of us who don't use Word (yes we do exist!)

But fix it now, i want to play this campain.......
Francis Pace I will still try this campaign out! I have already tried other campaigns by Arthur - The People of Russia. Great job! I'd still like to try Tamerlane even though the comments are not too encouraging. Hopefully only one or two scenarios might be unbalanced but I'm sure that other are full of action and puzzles.

Dublos Well, It would appear that the author has not been informed, or does not care that this campaign is not functional. Nice opening map, every indication prior to starting that the author knows what they are doing and that you'll be in for an enjoyable time.

Then the scenario starts, all your have is 8 outposts and you are instantly defeated.

Setting your name to the main character name doesn't change anythings, and nothing in the documentation indicates some "trick" you need to perform in order to get it to work.

This file does not deserve to remain available for user download. It is a waste of bandwidth till the author fixes it.

This is a good campaign; a lot of effort went into story, bitmaps and map design but none into play testing.

Scenario 1 and 2 give instant defeat while you receive instant victory for scenario 3 and 7, this leaves scenario 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 to play. The issues are easy to fix.

1. Timur Lenk, Player 1 has no unit, Tamerlane should be player 1. One monk scouts but later you need all 3 for objects in area quantity 4 triggers, freeze/stop monks with a looping trigger but deactivate when they change ownership to you. The bridge repairs, to place bridge middle parts between broken ones, will not work. Remove the broken ones and place three middle parts.
2. The Siege of Baghdad, trigger Objective#3 condition 0, should be condition destroy objects instead of object not visible.
3. Into Persia, Objective#2, condition destroy object, no set object.
7. Trigger 1 condition 0, should be condition destroy objects instead of object visible.

Two minor issues, in scenario 4, after you receive a town centre, you are above pop limit. You have to convert enemy villagers or kill your own units. In scenario 8, one enemy is ally towards the player, do not change diplomacy, he will change to enemy eventually.

There are 9 scenarios; I edited 11 to 9 under Number of scenarios and in the description.
