This Utility has caught my eye in more ways than one. It is very Creative and is very handy to use, this utility hold's a great many new tricks and is a wonderful resource for either, your scenario or your campaign. Philip has put in several new idea's that are not only well thought out, but extremely creative as well.
Creativity: 5.0
The author has put several tricks on this map for us to use, with terrific imagination and plenty of skill, Philip has shown us how to: have a fishing boat go over the land, have a villager swimming, exploding wolves that you can use as food, put in a Sea Tower and outposts on a mountain, etc......
Theme: 5.0 Philip has put in an extensive amount of work and care into his Neat Tricks. The unifying theme is the tricks that abound on this map and the idea's are all extremely original, as stated before.
Instructions: 5.0
If you can't figure out how to do certain thing's, then there Are detailed instructions to help you out.
So in conclusion, all I have to say is if you like very terrific, Neat tricks to use, then click the d/l button now and start using Philip's ingenius tricks to your advantage. |

RATING: 5.0
There are many reasons why you should download this utility. My specialty really is campaigns and reviews, but with this utility I shall make an exception:
CREATIVITY
Basically you begin with a series of impressive utilities:
Sea Tower ensconced inside a mountain – the most impressive among others, which could be used for a variety of other ideas for scenarios (Phil, a suggestion would be to create a glacier effect for a future scenario and have the tower blend into the glacier cliff face – ideal for ambush scenarios).
Invisible burning farms - I could’ve used this idea when I was doing my previous scenarios.
Fishing boat sailing on land – very impressive and originally done.
QUALITY
This contains ideas for both those starting out on scenario design as well as the seasoned designers who have “seen it all” and who, I will admit, shall be pleasantly surprised at what this utility contains. Thoroughly recommended.
INSTRUCTIONS
Basically you are an arbalest in a walk-through guided tour. There are some signs in which you click on for the dialogue to appear in which it explains the tricks, and other areas the dialogue appears without the need to click on anything. Nicely balanced.
OVERALL
In summary I thoroughly recommend this utility to anybody who has a special interest in this area of design as well as those who are looking for ideas.[Edited on 04/13/05 @ 02:14 AM]

Very good. I'm impressed, actually (and that kinda says something about much of the other good stuff out there) Well, all of you RPG makers will want to look at my sound pack that comes out soon. Gee, it's cold in Sweden this time of the year. Time to curl up on the sofa with a nice cup of coffee and play some SSBM on the Gamecube.
Greetings from c-cold Gothenburg, Sweden |
