Water to Land Tutorial

Author File Description
The_Cobra_81
File Details
Version: Age of Kings
This is a simple tutorial that shows you how to create land over water, and water over land. The land created is walkable, but the water created is not sailable. It explains how to do this in the hints. This is best for a cutscene, because you can control it a little bit better. Sorry if someone else has already posted something like this! Have fun.

Sorry, this is for The Conquerors Expanision.
LuckyChan I am going to comment on it by the following criteria.
Sorry if my comment irritates someone.

Guidelines
[0-10; 10 is the highest.]
[NB: It is no need to be perfect so as to get full mark]

Using time(roughly) --- it shows how long I use/try/playtest it

I --- Instruction (can tell you what you can see or how to do so? clear or not? )
D --- Design (does things inside are interesting, special, beautiful?)
B --- Benefit (how useful, beneficial you will get inside?)
O --- overall grade/impression

================
Using time(roughly): 10-15mins

D --- 5
B --- 5
O --- 4

He will show you how the tricks work in the scenario.
He uses a story to show how the land becomes the sea, vice versa.
But he doesn't tell you how to do it. (You have to think by yourself from the triggers, quite troublesome!!)

D
His story is quiet funny. Good!!
But when the story goes on, something goes wrong, making you puzzled:
-- in the first part, you can go through the sea before the road appears.
-- in the second part, you can't go throuh the sea even the road disappears.

B
Altho you will be puzzled about it and it doesn't teach you how to make it.
But if you have good perception, you may find it useful !!
You can change landform types (from sea to land, vice versa in the game, amazing).
Also if you are clever enough, you can draw more than what he teaches.
(eg: make a unmovable road for man, make a unmovable sea for ship)

O
OK, it's fine.
But I suggest the author should provide a text file or its similar next time, explaining his trick.
(altho he had told in the above, people may forget or may not be able to see when they are playing his scenario)

BTW, in case you don't know, by all accounts,
if you think the triggers are too complex, you can try to download the modpacks in this site.
There are some water/sea-liked roads and road-like sea to download.
