Dead Units Without a Template

Author File Description
SCX Thug
File Details
Version: The Conquerors 1.0c
This utility, which will not work without the Conquerors Expansion, will allow you to place EVERY kind of dead unit into your scenario, using the Map Editor, all WITHOUT Map Copy.

It DOES NOT, repeat, DOES NOT change ANY unit stats, so it SHOULD NOT effect gameplay at all.

EXTRAS: Monk w/ Relic and Advanced Heavy Crossbowman

Black_Death_Man Where are the dead units?I put the file into the data folder, I entered the Scenario Editor and I selected Gaia, put the list for "Other" and it was all as before! No dead units!
zyxomma100 For some reason or another, some of the "units" listed in GeniEd cannot be unhidden from the units menu. I think dead units are among these.

The revealing of the Advanced Heavy Crossbowman and the monk with Relic is nice, but most of us smart people have that revealed already. ;) Besides, why not go all the way and reveal units such as the COBRA, VDML, Piles of Resources, etc. That would make this a worthwhile download for those who haven't done so yet. :)

An update of this Utility is needed.
smokingfrog2 I can unlock dead units with geniEd2. They might be under gaia, but they'll all be called things like, say, CATAPHR_D. Check Gaia units and stuff to check again, but I have no problems unlocking dead units, so yeah.

The question: has the correct file that genED2 modified been sumbitted, or another one?

I can't find my disc at the moment, so I'll have a look once I've found it...
SwedeKnight I can understand why some like to have dead units on their maps. But I just think that it's very annoying with a hundred of dead units on the list of units. That sometimes makes it difficult to find the unit your'e looking for :( I just open the...whaddya call it editor and uncheck "hide from editor" box. Because some of the dead units is just ugly to look at. Well, winter's comin' to Sweden... Better make some desert scenarios that make me think WARM thougts ;D
