Don't expect a good story if you download this. In fact it's just a kind of fairy-tale: free the princess. She's locked up inside a deadly labyrinth. You will have to use teleporters to get to her.

Enjoy it... and good luck.
I reviwed this campaign because the name: The Labyrinth, made it sound pretty cool. Unfortunately, I was horribly wrong.
Basically, in this one scenario campaign, you have to save a princess by going around and killing people, which gets extremly boring after a while. There is also a bug in this scenario that keeps you from continuing at one point. The playablity gets a 1.
You start with a group of four heroes, and you have to defeat tons of soldiers. By the time the bug came into effect, I had lost all but one hero, and I wasn't even close to halfway through this scenario! I have no clue how the author won this scenario when he tested it (maybe he didn't). The balance gets a 1 also.
The basic idea of the campaign was a little creative, but the objective of rescueing a princess, isn't really creative or original. The idea of a labyrinth is okay and deserves something. The creativity gets a 2.
The author uses the excuse of the labyrinth being "man-made" for there being nothing but grass, road and buildings. I don't understand why he would do this when you know you get rated on map design. How could people of the time this scenario is set in, create something like this? Not very realistic. The map design gets a 1.
In the scenario instructions the author says " If your looking for a story, your not getting one". Obviously, this campaign has no story at all. The instructions are bassically, "rescue the princess from the labyrinth". Not much of instructions, but they are instructions. The story/instructions gets a 2.
I do not recommend downoading this campaign. Although, I think that this could have been a great campaign. Maybethe author might consider taking out the bug and fixing it up a bit, and this might be a campaign worth downloading.
