This one scenario campaign takes place in some time a long time ago. In this time period, Genghis Khan is a vicious ruler, and must be taken down. I used a lot of triggers, and hopefully my eye candy was put to use well. Check it out, and see what you think. PS - It was my first one, but I am pleased with it. :)

Forcing the Impossible begins as promising RPG, but as it goes along, it turns out to have some pitfalls that are common among other RPGs that are out there.
The playability in this campaign was average. You find yourself doing things that you would normally do in an RPG: talking to people, buying things, etc. The campaign ends with a climactic battle scene, but only takes around 30 minutes to complete. In my opinion, it was a little too short.
The balance was above average. Not too hard, but a bit on the easy side. So, I give it a 4 in this area.
Almost every element in this campaign I have already seen before. Now, I know this is an AoK campaign, and according to the author it was completed a long time before it got released, so I was actually a little generous by giving it a 3.
I was impressed with the map design. For an AoK scenario, it was pretty good. But by today's standards, I can only give it a 4 in this area.
This was one of the lower points of this campaign. The theme basically was to kill the evil emperor who wants to take over the country. Still, I'd say that is pretty much the average story you'll find in scenarios in the Blacksmith, so I gave it a 3.
Overall, Forcing the Impossible is a pretty average campaign. Personally, I am not into RPGs very much, but if you want an RPG, look for one that is in the Best of AoK.
You are Reynald de Chatillon, Dschingis Kahn invaded Europe and the King is dead. Jeanne d’Arc lost a battle and is hiding in the woods. You get no support by the town people, so you have to find allies to build an army and fight Dschingis Kahn.
Playability :5 Forcing the impossible is great fun to play and the name is well chosen. You can literally force,
"loose" and have a surprising finish. Save before attacking, so that you can play different options from there. The campaign is short enough to do that. I prefer a short, fun and flawless campaign, to a long partly boring one with bugs.
Balance :4 The Balance is perfect to this campaign, but don't play standard. Be not afraid to loose your heroes and have fun with the battle. Unfortunately not enough challenge to give this category a higher rating. You could have more or stronger enemies while exploring the map.
Creativity :5 The finding of a new King is well done and worth mentioning. Guess the end is new, as is the attack mode of the outcasts, to take you into battle. Creative were also the dialogs in comparison to many other campaigns, as they gave valuable information and initiated triggers. Along comes a good music file.
Map Design :5 Another strong point of the campaign. The small town is realistic and functional. Apart from forage bushes there is no food supply (no sheep, no farming, no fishing and no hunting). It is more an intellectual town which has the luxury of a university on a hill. The richness comes from a gold mine inside the town walls (mine and camp on natural ground and not on a pavement, like I have seen before). There is a market and a cart to trade the gold. You can practically read out of the good map design that these intellectual, wealthy town people won't follow you into war. I specially want to congratulate the author for that. The beautiful tent, as a non permanent residence, shouldn't be placed inside towns normally, is well explained. It is the royal tent for the future King which will be appointed in that town of an ally of yours. There is eye-candy, discretely hidden in special places.
Story/Instructions :4 A good History section, clear, valuable instructions and the objective is to find Jeanne d'Arc and kill Dschingis Kahn. Not enough to give it a higher rating, but a sound and solid 4.
