I loved the cut scenes and only had one problem. The first time I played it Ajax never came. I ended up using marco polo to find that he was still on a boat offshore. However when I started over it all work fine. I liked how I could choose wheather to watch the very long but good first cutscene as well as choose difficulty.
My main dissapointment was the sudden end. Please tell me there will be a sequeal.
I think the battles were very balanced and strategy was very important. I also liked how I started out with the Archaens and ended with the Trojans.
If I could i would give this a 6. Although it is a fairly obvios subject for a good battle I loved everything from homer telling the story to playing as both sides.
Map Design: 5
Also amazing. I can't imagine how long this took to make. The whole map with all the effects was great
The instructions weren't at all complicated and I could tell you payed attention to history by even mentioning any innacuracies
This was the first scenario I ever played that was made by someone else. At first I was impressed and as I play other scenario's I am even more impressed by this one.

The War of Troy by Sceletar is probably the best attempt of a Troy based scenario in the AOKH Blacksmith.
I had no trouble at all. Although my bloody computer did not meet the system requirements it did lag a bit. but that didn't stop me. I used a differnet PC anfd tried again. This time the was no lag, so now i can get on with the review.
After the cut scenes, which are very well done we take control of the Achaeans storming the beach, it is all very well presented and a very enjoyable campaign. I liked the idea of swapping between the two armies
The game has an in-game difficulty setting. The game was very challenging but not impossible. I found the bit inside the temple of Appollo especially hard.
There were many creative aspects in the campaign, such as the ocean waves, swapping between the armies and getting the player to do certain things in the fight, destroying the catapults, or targeting certain heroes. I liked the idea of protecting your heroes. I also thought that the idea of the traps in the Temple of Appollo were brilliant too.
Map Design: 5
The map looked very very pretty. The use of Elevation and cliffs were really good amnd there was some nice use of GAIA objects. The Ocean waves made a big effect on the map design too.
The Story is a well known Legend but Sceletar has presented the legend in very interesting way. The narration is done by the famous Greek poet Homer, telling the story to Anudorus. There are loads of helpful hints which would make the scenario almost impossible to do without.
A MUST Download
‘The War of ~Troy~; The Trojan Shores’ is a single scenario campaign presented by the author Sceletar, detailing, through a powerful and moving cut-scene and action-fledged scenario, the abduction of Queen Helen, to when Agamemnon gathered all of Greece for a war for vengeance to the early days of the Trojan War itself, lying waste over the beaches and fields. The campaign captures the battle for Troy’s beach, both exhaustedly and claustrophobic, to the first of the many battles raging across the open plains before the behemoth city of Troy itself. It was very good, because he find a way to mix cinematic with single scenario game, very interesting and innovative. But the most awesome was the sound files, so the game was very much alike the movie!
A great scenario by the great author sceletar!
