this map works great on multiplayer! i especially liked the store. buying heroes is a great idea rather than those other bloods.
anyhow, great job! i loved it.
i wished i could do a review on this one, but unfortunately im not good at doing them so hopefully someone could do it[Edited on 03/27/05 @ 10:42 AM]

One of the best blood maps ever lots of work put into it.
Playability: 5
The map is simple to learn and easy to play. Amazingly there is also a "Delete me if you messed up Hut" which can give players a second chance if they screwed up the first time!
Balance: 5
The map topography is extraordinary even, and all players get equal bonuses in razings and kills. Haven't seen a single bug.
Creativity: 5
The idea of a pool and having cannon galleons in it really impressed me. The store with the bloody massacre gave me a sensational thought: "Shopping is fun again."
Map Design: 5
The map is beautiful with exhilarating eye-candy. The pool with explosions make this an excellent 5.
Story/Instructions: 5
The map was easy to understand and play. The addin of host choose game settings was an excellent idea.
Overall, its a must download scenario! It's becoming popular in zone.[Edited on 04/17/05 @ 09:55 PM]

My internet won't multiplay, so I modded this to play singleplayer, and I imagine it's just as good. The fighting is fierce and fast paced, and constant. The ability to switch the cloning unit at will gave a nice stratigic mix to it when defending your base.
Balance: 5
There isn't any advantage one can get in this game, unless your the host (damage all towers by 5000). Even hackers don't get an advantage. Kudos on that.
Creativity: 5
It's not creative for the genre picked, but the store feature was perhaps one of the best examples of a pure genius that I have seen in awhile, particularly since I have yet to find a single bug. The spell monk was interesting, and is something beyond creativity.
Map Design: 5
A small, 8 player map. What's not to love? Solid carnage in the middle, peaceful shopping on the edges.
Story/Instructions: 5
The instructions, however a bit long, were straightforward and incredably easy to understand.
Additional Comments:
I don't remember if this was in the instructions, but I had to think for a second before knowing how to buy things over 1 king/cart/horse.

Wow this looks cool. Sadly, Ican't play multiplayer, but it doesn't work in single player the Ai doesn't know the strategy.

Wow, it's been a long time since I've logged in to AOKH. First of all, I thank to all of those who have contributed their useful reviews regarding my Pool Blood work. I sincerely appreciate your great comments and those who have used their time to download and try the map.
However I would want to make it clear to the review department that Not all Multiplayer blood scenarios have to be based on a story timeline.
Thanks,
eLF[Edited on 08/24/06 @ 10:27 PM]

Well, I used to complain about that too, then someone said to me "I'm glad AoKH doesn't allow laziness", or something of the sort. I used to not add stories to my multiplayer maps, and now I realize that it's only laziness that keeps you from doing that. Just make a story, it doesn't take too long.

I wasn't going to add a story, but then I just decided to do it. It adds more to the map, although only some look at it. [Edited on 08/23/06 @ 09:49 AM]

Ok, I'll remove my review. We just have a difference of opinion, I guess. |
