This utility explains how generation of a random number through AI can be used to create random events in a scenario. In this utility I have included an example of using a randomly generated number to generate a random taunt that can be used to unlock allied gates.
This utility includes:
- Three example scenarios of the idea in practice.
- Three example AI's.
- A detailed explanation of how the concept works and how you cn customize it for use in your own scenario.
This AI script is a very interesting addition to any campaign. As a fan of using AI to extend trigger capability, I was very interested to see what Luke had come up with. The results were excellent.
This download includes samples of how the AI can be used, an essential, especially when it comes to AI scripting.
Basically for a set period of time there will be a password to open any gate in the city. This is in the form of a taunt.
At the end of that period, the password will be randomised and a new one assigned. Because of the scripting, this will never be the same as the previous password, imperative if you are using this as a time based scenario.
The accompanying documentation provides a good explanation of how the system works, enabling a user to understand, not just use, the script.
All in all, an excellent utility. Well done Luke.

Sorry for the late reply.
Currently using letters instead of numbers isn't possible, which is a shame.

Great utility, extremely useful. I'll use it in my campaign, and you shall receive the proper credit for it.
