The best Minas Tirith scenario ever. Completely accurate map (although its out of proportion between Osgiliath, Minas Tirith and the pelennor wall) the map was designed with the aide of The Atlas of Middle Earth. It has about 1100 'good guys' and 4500 'bad guys'. That is a proportion of 1:10 for the real siege. All the heroes have the right names. it took me a while to make so i hope u enjoy it!

King Bob VI Holy crap, thats a lot of units.

I'll try it out, but something tells me it will be slightly laggy. (just a hunch)
King Bob VI Just curious, but how much RAM does your computer have? I've 512, and the mouse pointer (in single-player) WILL NOT MOVE. The lag, my friend is completely, udderly, extremely BAD. I shudder to think how it would play over my 56k modem. The map design was pretty good, though, so go back and remove about 95% of the guys and it might be OK.

5500 default AoE units simply fighting each other. I don't know how is it possible to control such a huge amount of units. The lag is tremendous, no system could possibly bear it. Oh and did I mention it only has 2 players?

Balance: 1
It's a 1v1 1100 against 4400 or so, think how "balanced" this might be considering that there are no triggers or modifiers that could make it even SLIGHTLY interesting. Oh and save yourself some time: use map copy. To save even more time, dont bother sending any more work with quality par to this again please.

Creativity: 1
Poor creativity, just a lot of units wiping out each other. Many heroes from the book are absent, some names are misspelled. If you plan to make a good scenario, at least do your homework right. Gandalf is a genitour.

Map Design: 2

I gave a point for the stubborn diligence of the author for incessantly placing all those units, although he could have just used the map copy and saved himself some time. Cliff placement might have took some effort to create and Osgiliath was not badly made. Otherwise just a green grass 1 map with a lot of units

Story/Instructions: 1
None, except some dialogue like "Oh no its Angmar the Witch king, run" (FYI his name was not "Angmar", it was a realm he once controlled)

Additional Comments:

This isn't the best Minas Tirith scenario I hav e seen, as a matter of fact it is one of the poorest. There are many better scenarios available with more than 2 players. It obviously took minimal effort from the author (other than placing those units), and I do not recommend this scenario to anyone.

AOE Inferno lol i had 20000 Units ( War Elephants )in a scenario once and it didn't lag some much as this one ( weird! )

Orcrist_Bahamut Absolutely terrible, im a long time LotR scenario player on AoC and this is possibly 1 of the worst minas tirith maps iv ever seen.

A few things i spotted right away that were wrong.

*Angmar, The Witch King is Acually The Witch King of Angmar(Angmar being his fortress in the north of middle earth some miles above rivendell, established during the early/mid 3rd age.)
*Lack of a high number of heroes on both sides eg. Denethor, Iorlas, Turin, Eomer, Eowyn, Merry, Pippin just to name a small few.
*Uninspired terrain design, and generally a bad interpretation of the area.
*Way to many units to possibly play.

irwinnerdavidboy Hours of work? only hours? Ulio took 2 YEARS. my havoc miniblood took 4 months, and its still not good. don't complain about HOURS.
