"Aztec Insulance " is a campaign based in the Yucutan jungle. Here you follow the exploits of General Phinexa and Cozla. It featured a few interesting ideas but had it's bugs too.

Playability: I played this twice as they're were two routes to El Dorado but everything else was fixed with only one route or way of continuing onward. I'd have to say it wasn't that fun to play but it wasn't a 1.

Balance: This campaign's balance was too easy. For example, once General Phinexa gained +20 attack with magical arrows he became a one man army for a time. I say for a time as later on the units become harder which the author should be congratulated for. Overall, though I found Aztec Insulance a little too easy to complete. I'd say It has one hard part that I can recall.

Creativity: This campaign's creativity was above average. A well implemented Sacrifice scene was fun to watch. Along with a opportunity for different routes to travel and some interesting ideas with the use of Magical arrows and Knifes. It included gaining units for money and fighting but this was good for the campaign. The eco-jaguars were a little strange but were definitely creative!

Map Design: The map design was below average unfortunately. This was for many reasons. These include being able to see one route you can take to El Dorado when you're not supposed to. The map wasn't all explored and by the end I'd only explored around half the map. Some of the things just didn't seem too accurate. Travelling across roads through jungle paths was a bit far-fetched.

Story/Instructions: The story was ok.Vague at times but it was easy to understand but certain things stopped it getting a higher score. First off it didn't have the "Wow" factor of a 5 but was interesting. The introduction of General Phinexa in the second scenario was him just appearing. He didn't take place in the Prologue so I was left guessing. They're needed to be more character progression through the campaign I thought. Why was these events occuring? It didn't really go into too much detail as to why you were fighting.

Overall: This was a solid campaign. It lacked anything to make it stand out from most scenarios/campaigns however. The designer has small features which were good and I'm sure with a little work these could be progressed and the author would improve.
