My dad and My second game together after our long break. He surprised me by choosing a Random map game without telling me, and I thought it was a mistake at first (see chat in game) but we went with it and he began to learn the art of the Random map. I did a quick explanation of one to him during dinner (which we paused to eat)
Enjoy the game, and I hope nobody criticizes my use of Sheep as scouts...
Mmm. A rather boring RM if you ask me. No offense, but neither of you were really very good. And kind of a cheap win. Thats why I play conquest. But I guess if you wouldn't have done that, the game would have lasted abou 12 AoK hours.

Well, of course neither my father or me are very good at all. Nobody here would doubt that. I'm just asking for advice, or posting it on the off chance that someone might enjoy it.

Wow. The filename confused my dad as my name is Mike and he had never actually played AOE before, with the exception of a few learning scenarios.
Will edit once I'm finished watching.
Okay I've got a few tips for you:
*Don't make millitary buildings until the Feudal Age
*Build Lumber Camp next to large forests, not small patches of trees
*If stone and gold are close to each other, build mining camps so that it is close to both.
*Gold is more important than stone.
*Use your berry bushes early in the game.
