This is similatr to the scenario in EE heaven, only it's for Aok.The storyline is inside the campaign, so I won't give the surprise away. Please send in your comments, reviews etc.But if you want to criticize ,be constructive, it won't help to tell just that you don't like it.I must know what you like and what you don't.Just to be clear there aren't any new tricks, but the gameplay has you do various things like clearing forests for passing through, drowning knights, naval battle, capturing the relic and razing the enemy castles. It is however not build and destroy but more of a fixed force and rps.Try it..it might not be as bad as you think.I'm not that great at map design for Aok, but am alright with EE map design(and basically I prefer it to Aok).

Ksrugi I was excited when I saw the name of this campaign, it had the same namesake as one of my most favorite campaigns. Sadly, it doesn't come close.

Map design is a bit drab. There was even an entire island that was just there, not housing anything worth mention. Also, there could have been more detail and a more asiatic touch.

Gameplay was iffy. I know you said the difficulty was a joke, but I felt that it could have been more. Maybe the Mongol Lord could have been Genghis Khan himself.

Also, there are some hisotrical inaccuracies, but I figure that this was just made from your imagination.

Good try, but all I can say is "a swing and a miss."

Gameplay was iffy.I thought it was fun to add diverse objectives like drowning the soldiers, capturing relics etc.Could you be a little more specific as to what the glaring deficiency in the gameplay is.I thought the storyline was believable, and the rest of the stuff was just obstacles.Obstacle 1 for example was removal of trees.Obstacle 2 was defeat the army and navy.Obstacle 3 was free Kyoto.I guess the story wasn't as good enough to draw your attention. Anyway thanks for the comments..I'll try a better create a better storyline and gameplay.
DoomMaster How do you actually download the campaign files and play them on Aok Expansion? Then I'll be able to post reviews/comments on scenarios like yours
Ksrugi When I said gameplay was iffy I meant that it felt too easy to me. There could have been more to do, it's feudal Japan. :p

DoomMaster, you need WinZip to download, extract .cpx/.cpn files to default/Microsoft Games/Age of Empire II/Campaign to play click campaigns from Single Player.
DoomMaster Thx Taneur. The scenario is ok, you did a good job with the map design. There was maybe a little too much objectives but however they connected with each other to achieve the main objective. The balance is poor, you could've made it harder, with better units on the enemies side. Overall, this is a good scenario with well managed triggers and I'd reccomend it to noobs, rooks and newbies.
DoomMaster Dude, you should have put Ghengis Khan as the Mongol Lord. It would have been cool!
DoomMaster I think I might post a review about this.
laz123 Good use of triggers and a good story. Enjoyable game. Thanks.
