Role Playing Strategy |
Hi, I'm Peej. This is my first scenario. I made it, because basically, there are no good and easy deffence scenario's.
This is the story of Raven, a comander in the Imperial army at the invasion of the northern barbarians. Your task, save the empire and defeat the barbarians.
I want lots of reviews so i will no wether or not I should publish the other two scenarios, into a campaign. This has about 100 triggers, and several tricks that I haven't seen before. Enjoy!
-I just edited it to fix a few things. Also, you MUST MUST play this on Standard recources or some bad stuff happens.
- OK, I just fixed some problems that happened with the last edit! Everyone, please redownload :)

Ok, there's a few more things I'd like to say. I am putting up all the scenarios in both campaigns (When I am done with all of them) and in single player. (Which is now.) This is still my first item on the site, so i would like lots of people to write reviews, and coments and to tell me about all the bugs/things that just don't work. I'm not the most natual map designer, so don't rate me that poorly if you don't like it. Also, if you find any similarities between this and other scenarios, campaigns, video games, books, whatever thats because I liked it. ( Igno van thiel, talon Karde, and Beserker Jerker, this means you!) thanks, and please leave some coments!
OH, I frogot to add the AI!
Ok, remain calm, I fixed that, and if yo were part of the first 20 or so downloaders, please redownload.
Oh, and finally, if some parts don't work, download The Nexus, because there were a few ai's that were in there that I have sitting there.
Great news, I found another few problems, so they have just been fixed! (In the city when you talk to erik, and when you meet dirk!)
And also, SOMEBODY PLEASE LEAVE A COMENT!!! OR EVEN A REVIEW!!![Edited on 08/18/05 @ 12:35 PM]

Duude! Have you playtested your scenario to see how it works? I can't give you a review because I can't play RPG's cuz I'm stupid that way. I can only play old KOEI RPG's because they are idiot proof and I'm the idiot.
But anyway, did you try your make a troop triggers to see what happens? I played some of your scen and when I click on the barracks to get a troop it takes my money but it doesn't give me a troop. I hate it when that happens, don't you?
**************************************************************************************
LATER-- Wiser heads have prevailed. The Review Mod checked out my analysis and it was about half right. I failed to notice the spawn point placed above the barracks. So the spawn point is OK after all, you just need to task the unit to get off the spot so the next unit can spawn. Your analysis was totally correct Peej. Sorry about the misguided advice!

Yeah thanks, what I think happened is the guys didn't move. is that right? See, what it is is when you keep doing that it can't pop up right underneath the guys that were made. Thanks though, and I'll try to work that out! |

ok thanks everyone. I also just did an edit, after playtesting. I'm going to be saying this up on the top thing again, but after playtesting again, I realized youMUST play this on moderate. and also i did something so you don't loose money my selecting stuff.
Did I say moderate up there IGNORE!!!!!!!!!
Please play it on standered rescorces (Yes, I can't spell) because it will mess up part of it. (Although, it doesn't REALLY matter)[Edited on 08/24/05 @ 08:48 PM]

If your scenario uses AI files from another campaign, you should include the files or submit in campaign format - this format includes the AI files. The Nexus doesn't actually need those AI files, they were probably zipped so people could see/use them, or if the author didn't know about this. |

Thanks alot for the review!!!
Ok... I now know what to work on.
ON what I'm making now, there is TONS of that eyecandy and elevations and all that stuff. *whew*
My e-mail is kind of messed up, so I would like to get an idea for playtesting. If I should just post a BETA version, or post one version, and then make a big note that it has been fixed. IF someone could help me in that department, it would be great. |

Hi Peej, I mailed September 14 with regard to your reviews; they need an edit to get an approval. Tell me when you fixed your address. |

@Taunner,
No its not that, its that it can't send over a certain amount or else this message says "Sory you have sent to much crap. Please try agian." (IN not those exact words.) It ends up being a bit to much for sending anything scenario related. (I discovered this by trying to send one to my friend.) |
