My friend Rob and I played a 1 on 1. He was the celts and I was the britons (my worst civ). I decided to play as the britons in order to give him a chance for once since I've never lost to any of my friends.
Anyways, he produced huge armies of siege onagers and paladins which flattened every infantry unit I threw at him. I was doing quite badly, and he came very close to winning. He destroyed my whole base and every unit I had.
But then, I took a few surviving villagers and trannied them off to a desolate peninsula where I started making armies and armies of scouts (having no gold at all left, just copious amounts of food). I started throwing wave after wave of scouts at his base, until it became an unstoppable flood, and after I suffered a death toll of almost 2000, I had wiped him clean off the map!
This is definitely the best game I have ever played. It's a very long one; over 7 hours in game-time, and I would recommend you watch all of it - but thankfully I saved a few chapters so you impatient viewers can skip right ahead to the good parts if you really feel like it.
All in all, the moral of this story is: the game is never over until it's over.
Unbelieveable. This is a great comeback. The best I have ever seen. Great job!

LOL You’re quite a player! I watched until you invaded his town, that was enough, he ran out of resources to build siege as he had no gold! I also use the Celts but instead of Onagers I use Scorpions because they don’t damage your own units however I should consider changing my strategy.
If I was in your position at that time I would never have thought of using Light cavalry, I would have probably given up long before. Good Job!

All I can say is wow! That was so crazy. Who knew that a bunch of light cavalry could do that? The ending was hilarious. I loved it.

This game reminds me that many units can win the game, even if they are 'poor'. If you have a flood of anything, and you outbuild your defensive opponent, you will likely win. Britons LCav is not all that bad- it is equal to Franks and Byzantines, better than Japanese, Vikings, Koreans, and Teutons. Of course, LCav vs. Castle isn't a classic fight- until this game!

OH MAN! Scouts aren't neccesarily thw worst unit.
I like to use them on most of my games....nothing wrong with them. How'd you collect 250KKKKKK food????????? Plus u could've used those 2 relics to get a coule 10k of gold......
