Knights, Clerics, Elfs, Dwarves, Necromancers, Death Knights, Overlords, Warlocks, Wizards, Druids, all kinds of magical beings are on this Campaign! You play the role of an Elf, and two humans, who must follow the order of Lady Horas!
“World of Khazander” is a campaign based in a fantasy world of necromancers, warlocks and many other fantasy people.
Playability: The campaign’s playability was average it did not have many choices, although it did have a few interesting things although I won’t spoil them for you. The playability could do with some more optional objectives and things to keep the player interested throughout the entire campaign.
Balance: The balance was too hard, I often lost my ranged unit and as there was limited save points I often saw myself reloading the campaign or loading a saved part of the campaign. The good thing was the author does warn you that this will be hard which is a reason as to who might download this campaign, someone who might like a challenge.
Creativity: The campaign’s creativity was another solid part of the campaign it had chests and picking items up. I must say it did have many features but it sometimes seemed a little far fetched such as a dam breaking around 10 tiles away and nothing happening to a lot of land and the vampire suddenly just died. The creativity was good, just the way you used your idea could do with some attention.
Map Design: The map design was good, it often changed and there was changing scenery. The map design is well designed and it is clear to see the author did put a lot of effort in to making it beautiful to look at. The map design is one of the better features of this campaign.
Story/Instructions: The story was fantasy and was above average, it featured an average main story but the plot twists and surprises help it further. Instructions wise, I don’t think I saw a single punctuation error in the whole campaign! This is something to be commended for, taking the time to correct spelling errors. The instructions were clear and concise although in the objective’s column the first objective is below your second objective, which is confusing at a glance.
Overall: A mediocre campaign, worth a look if you like a challenge and unit micro-management.
